Hopefully you can meet some better folks next time. You can ask around but there are only a couple hotels close to the stadium that visiting teams use. You could run into your guys if youre lucky. I got to meet most of the 2014 squad in ATL by going to the bar at their hotel.

As mentioned, I'm ok with it I only worry about ball security. Rookies that put the ball on the ground dont last long.

The good(and bad) thing about our fair city is she's always growing and changing. I'm not familiar with that particular establishment, but if its still operating in this climate they're doing something right. Visit as many as you can. Should be a bar or eatery on every block downtown.

Are you telling me a Jets fan is aware of a player on my team that I (still) am not?
-
This particular situation has its own merits. Coach announces the starting 5 and immediately loses a starter. Now that depth has been effected, it should make them reconsider. The oline is where you pick the best unit over the best 5 players. Sum of the parts or whatever. With no established group, why not see if the youngins can scrap?

Me either. Can *BBC outplay their veteran counterparts? Probably. These guys are gifted. But do they know the offense? Can they be trusted to know what to do out there against seasoned vets week 1? Or do you play it safe and roll with a less talented vet that may get beat by his opponent but wont beat himself? (Numbers are made up for general point making) The rookies have a 50/50 shot at winning the matchup. They also have a 50/50 shot at making an unforced mental error. A vet has a 50/50 shot at winning the matchup. Knowing what to do from experience allows the vet to play instinctively instead of having to think. Mental errors no longer a weighted variable. This reduction of risk is like catnip for Coaches. Its a difficult choice to gamble one's life work on a 20 year old kid that's never played a snap of pro ball. TLDR: Allllllll of that to say this, I agree with you. I also see why so many coaches make the same "mistake". * HA! that shits funny

I just learned that Sam Darnold's former head coach, Adam Gase, is now a High School Offensive Coordinator. Sam can really kill a career huh? LOL, nah. Gase is TRASH!

You laid it out pretty well. If a guy can play at this level he’ll figure it out. If he can’t, he’ll be looking at year 3-4 still hoping “the light comes on”. Football is simple, either you can or you can’t.
-
I’ll ask again, who tf is Harris?
-
Enjoy our city. Hope you’ll enjoy the game a little less, but I don’t disagree with your assessment. 2 young teams looking at a fresh start. I just hope it resembles football. Both squads are guilty of forgetting what it looks like.

The Jets have trended down since ol’ butt fumble came crashing back to Earth. They always seem to have a new GM/Coach/QB combo. To think they are any different is to ignore all current data and go with your fee-fees. The Panthers on the other hand are trending up. Talented roster, young Coach, GM NOT named Hurney. That’s progress folks. The Jets stink, but we love to stink just like our opponents. We love making Rookie and Back up QBs alike, look as if the name on their jersey was Montana. Heres to not having a Got Damned Clue going into week 1! It’s how we roll.

Yeah. This is it. Maybe only a week or 2 but, yeah. It will take injuries and pure necessity to get the right 5 out there. Been that way for years. The more things change the more they stay they same. and for the "they're rookies!" crowd, our whole damn team is rookies and 2nd year guys. Argument invalid.

Very few teams jettison their HOF QB and just march to the playoffs the following year. -

What's it like? -
IMO it’s the only reason he was kept.
-
He should have 3500-4500yds. 20-25 TDs 8-12 INTs 60-70% comp% 6-12 wins (Boom or Bust)

The South never forgot?

As of this moment there are 10 rookies on the Panthers roster
L-TownCat replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
After a couple decades of 1 and done drafts, this is strange and foreign to me. You’re telling me, we could have added more than 1 rookie at a time? I don’t know sounds like a bunch of hooey, a fad, like this spider net or web world or whatever the kids are playing checkers on these days. Slackers. -
I believe it’s referred to as “dontis-takeis-draftus-pickus” latin. Not very painful or serious but will require a year to recover.

Talented Unvaccinated Players Getting Cut
L-TownCat replied to slumdogmillionaire's topic in Carolina Panthers
Suspending my opinions and beliefs for a moment, the league has made it clear that if you can’t field a team due to COVID the game is forfeit. Im no rocket surgeon, but coach’s will go to extraordinary lengths to remove variables. This should shock no one.
