  1. I put sanders at TE2 because they want him to play lighter and split out wide more. Tremble and Mitchell will be the traditional blocking TEs.
  2. The issue is who does he push down the depth chart? When tremble comes back he’s TE1 and Sanders is TE2. If we sign Fant are we ok limiting Sanders development and basically keeping the rookie we drafted off the field?
  3. I mean 1-6 the WR group is pretty good. All 6 won’t see the field at the same time. I’d say 3 WR sets or less a majority of the time if our commitment to the run game is to be believed. With that said, the o line is our strength. Behind that we have a RB room with 2 1000 yard rushers. Personally I think both groups are “better” at this time. And if we’re only going 2-3 players deep the Corners have an argument for being a better unit than the WRs as we currently sit. tl;dr Another lazy article by the world wide leader in sports…
  4. Kon with the championship game MVP award.
  5. I can count on one hand how many times I’ve even looked at Reddit. I’ll pass.
  6. As a veteran of the Huddle, I really miss fat Alice and some of the other trolls. We had some good times. We used to have some heavy hitters here on the huddle before it got so watered down to protect the fee-fees.
  7. The offense has no excuses to be less than good. The defense is still a massive question mark until they step on the field. Bryce can’t play defense.
  8. Headed to the ‘ship tomorrow night. Good job bugs. Good job.
  9. As much as I hate giving Duke players credit, Kon doesn’t look too bad. He can help this team.
  10. Nothing they can really do. The rookie wage scale is based on the salary cap as negotiated in the CBA. They’d need to sign a new CBA to make changes. And like I said, the money can’t really get out of hand. It’s a set percentage based on the current year’s salary cap. If the salary cap increases the rookie scale will reflect that increase. The only real negotiation points the rookies have are guaranteed money and the off-set language in the contract. The numbers are set.
  11. I’m not a fan of guaranteeing money to people who have never played a snap of NFL football, however, the rookie wage scale keeps things from spiraling out of control. I assume eventually all rookie contracts will be fully guaranteed.
  12. 3 safety looks? We’ll need to sign 2 more legit safeties to even attempt that.
  13. For me… it’s still on sight with Mr Clete “Bronco fan” Blakeman.
  14. While I enjoy the thought of being seen as more than a doormat or a poverty franchise… historically speaking we have not done well when the predictions favor us. Maybe this time will be different? For the love of god please don’t suck again…
  15. how I envision the writers look while authoring such an asinine article.
  16. He’s essentially our 7th round pick from that draft. That would give us 5 starters with a possible 6th from one draft. That’s bananas.
  17. I’m not one to get my pompoms for Peyton, but as far as #1 picks go, it’s a difficult task to advocate for a better pick. There are others worthy but it’s a coin flip at best.
  18. Nobody is getting close without looking. That’s a strange group of panthers.
  19. Chris Gamble Captain Munnerlyn Mike Minter Ryan Khalil.
  20. Bro has to be the longest surviving make a wish kid I’ve ever seen. Theres no other explanation for him having this job. He makes Joe Person look like Bryant Gumble.
  21. You don’t have to look far, Luke would ride ATVs to go hunting. And he took more than a few teammates with him like Olsen and Jared Allen among others.
  22. Coker: the Udfa kid is a baller I expect a jump in splash plays for him as attention from the defense will be focused elsewhere. Sanders: agree with op, the guy is a big play waiting to happen and a nice security blanket for Bryce. Legette: his hard work over the offseason will payoff and he’ll make more plays than he misses. The kid is a physical specimen. i hesitate to list defensive players because i think Evero and his scheme is butt. I hope I’m wrong but I doubt it.
  23. I have very low and I mean very low expectations for Evero’s scheme. It’s a better roster overall for him to leave Jaycee on one side of the field and the safeties out to dry due to zero QB pressure. Spoiler: I don’t like the scheme.
