To give him this many touches would mean we’ve basically benched Chuba. We aren’t running the ball 25-30 times a game. I understand the point you’re making about his limited playing time, but he’s not going to come in and get more carries than Hubbard. It’s just not gonna happen. I’m not worried about re-signing Hubbard. After they got burned on the Miles Sanders contract I don’t see them doling out big bucks for Chubs.

Have we ever had a 4th round pick pan out? It’s still super early but this draft class gives me hope. Already with 4 contributors in XL,TW,JT and JC and a possible 5th in Brooks would make this the most successful draft class in franchise history. (I’m not saying it produced the best players just the best hit rate)

Ahh, I forgot about the hand thing. You have a good point but I do see the confusion from your first post. It read like you meant XL got blasted on the “int”. Youre right the hand most likely played a big part in why the DB was able to wrestle that ball away. But the pass itself was the most accurate downfield pass I’ve seen from the little feller. Still not a Bryce believer, defenses are going to be better than the Saints from here on out.

I guess my real question is, did he say Bryce was salvageable or is he just singularly focused on this one game?
