REPORT: SS Swearinger claimed by Bucs on waivers
L-TownCat replied to @bobbyagnese's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is really easy guys. A SS in our defense is a run stopping ,in the box, down hill enforcer. Swearinger would work here. -
Josh Norman Gives Us A Lesson On Technique (Video)
L-TownCat replied to Mr Mojo Risin's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm loving me some Norman. This kid is as real as it gets. Just a cool dude to talk too. -
If you continue to poke the bear, eventually you will get mauled. Why do you guys have such a hard time with this? The league has tried so hard to ignore the blatant disregard for the rules the Pats show every chance they get. The fans have expressed fatigue in dealing with these guys and the league had to respond.

So was Mike Mitchell, that worked out ok. -
I feel for the kid. Not Jax, just the kid. All of them work so hard to get to this point and then it's literally ripped away. Just hard to watch.

We have a dominant DE well rounded DE in Johnson. Most teams can't even say that. Add in Frank and Ealy to the other side along with Star, KK, Dwan and the rest that is some serious talent on that line. If only there was a position that could back up the linemen in case they allowed a gap... They could call it Behind-Lineman or something like that maybe we could invest 3, 1st round picks to that position and stabilize the front 7 for years to come!

Kroger has a really good take on this today. He mentions that in a vacuum it's a non story but the Patriots just keep having these little scandals. It's not much on its own but it's like collecting change, eventually it adds up. -
I don't see how anyone could argue that Cam is 99.999% of our offense. How many other teams can even say that? Let alone win back to back division titles and make the playoffs? Wilson just isnt asked to do everything, hes asked to do what hes good at and only that. Cam is forced to win games and in this league you just cant ask a guy to do that consistently.

but could it ever be as epic as it is in our minds?

Sacrifices must be made, but on the bright side we could build our own world of Panther domination!

I want to be put on 'The Map' by this time next year.
L-TownCat replied to bLACKpANTHER's topic in Carolina Panthers
Ok I misunderstood that map. I felt a small stroke coming on. Yes I want us on that map very soon. Edit: it looks like the Eagle is deep throating Mexico. -
We need to go all Leo DiCaprio and inception his ass. Wait for the kick...

Salad tossers!!! What a horrifically bad idea by McD's.

Yes I have thought it through. I get the value of the guy, but so does every other team. Regardless of how bad we do or don't want him we have to have something enticing to offer him. The Panthers just arent a destination if a guy gets to choose his spot. Sorry but its the same with the Hornets. Too many big markets to choose from to select a "perceived" 2nd tier franchise.

Good points. How we view LC is unclear with DG's refusal to speak on the matter. I would assume we do project him as a LT since we are weak at that position and already drafted DW in the 4th round. If we dont view him as a LT i doubt we even contact him or his agent.

Almost every team, assume we are one of the interested parties let's say there are 28 teams in the mix. Then you have to look at the tackle situation for each team. That should eliminate about half of the 28 teams. Now with 14 teams in the mix, look for teams with both available PT and the ability to pay him a decent salary in 1-2 years. Now we are in the 10 team range. If GMan can get his mits on this guy he can out maneuver 9 GMs. The wild card is if LC has a particular team in mind that happens to meet the criteria listed above. We have a good shot as long as we don't aim at our feet.

If ya dont want to stir up the shitpot, why are you here again? Don't stroll over here with your Saints BS and try to chide one of our posters for trying to run you off.

Yep lilsmitty cornered the market on cool videos hear at the huddle. Someone else doing it would be like another huddler trying to post while pooping(SCP tha Gawd), or bringing up ancient Panther lore (MR. Scott has that), or making poo thread after poo thread (PanthersUnited got it locked down) If youre gonna huddle you gotta find your niche or at least dont step on the ones who have found theirs.
