For this Godly reference I regret I only have but 1 pie to give.

We are going to put our top corner on a TE? Id wager we see Horn absolutely erase Ridley. Jackson/Bouye handle the Gage/Sharpe. That leaves Pitts to take on? uh-huh. Mr Sweet Chinn Music himself. I think we've got plenty of answers for Matt Ryan's gang of skid marks. Oh and they have a new center. Matty Lice loves to fumble snaps and from shotgun. Interesting note to watch.

Until someone can explain how to double team without either looking another dude in his face, or slapping sacks, I'll pass on that "shared experience". I dont think I even have a friend id be willing to form a tag team? Dudes are gross.

NFL Sunday Ticket’s last season (with DirectTV)
L-TownCat replied to onmyown's topic in Carolina Panthers
Each state (might) have 1 metro area. The rest? You guessed it, a bunch of back woods small towns filled with hayseeds like me. You are right tho, satellite service is ass-butter. -
Meh, roster spots 55-90 are lottery tickets. The more you buy the better the odds.

Panthers VP of football ops Sean Padden has resigned
L-TownCat replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
If fans could be fired, you’d be drawing unemployment. -
There's a difference between answering the question and getting it right. A solution has been presented at QB and is currently awaiting peer review. Several hypotheses are currently being vetted for a starting OL. No solutions have been presented. Best answer we've received is "We're gonna try everybody everywhere". That is a bigger question than QB.

If any of them can NOT suck, then we can help with Tommyknocker and a solid run game. That should be enough to win games.

Which Positions Have The Panthers Improved Most This Off Season
L-TownCat replied to KatsAzz's topic in Carolina Panthers
3 consecutive losing seasons erases any chance at looking too far ahead. This team not only needs to win, but has to win. And as it seems, Fitt believes this too. How many moves has he made in one pandemic riddled offseason? Maybe b/c we had Hurney so long but I've never seen anything like it. They have gone full tilt for what seems like a big swing at this season. -

Eight Carolina Panthers Who Could Have a Break Out 2021 Season
L-TownCat replied to KatsAzz's topic in Carolina Panthers
The link takes me to a 2 paragraph “article” and none of it mentions 8 players. -
Neither accepted the first offer on a multimillion dollar deal…. how very strange.

I said top to bottom. 03 was Smitty’s breakout year. Moose was a great compliment. Proehl was a consummate pro. Now, were those guys great? Yeah. Is it better than Anderson/Moore/CMC? When did Smitty and Moose have 1000 yard seasons together? Has any Panther ever had a 1k/1k season besides Christian? Don’t let fond memories cloud the facts.

Quick Note on 2021 Statistics and NFL Records
L-TownCat replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’m just glad the preseason is shorter. -
That leaves plenty of room. Good call.
-
Even with Chubba? I know Christian is a RB but we all know he’s a WR(slot) too. “If” Chubba gives us at least an option, CMC becomes the most dangerous variable on the field. I know you know this, you’ve been talking about it. I’m not pitching an idea just what we could see.
-
Or carries? Where is he better? Open field or ‘tween them tackles???
-
And THAT is what we are hoping for. A team that isn’t dependent on CMC going ham. Maybe 1 week he does, then the next DJ does, then maybe Robby or Dan Arnold or…. see? That is the desired outcome. CMC is great while others contribute so he doesn’t need to be the super hero. You are all over the game plan. That’s what they want to do.
-
Neither can a broken or worn out weapon. What good is a dull blade? Ammo that won’t fire? Im just being a devil’s advocate here. I think what we all want is to be able to use CMC when we need him and for him to be the deadly asset we know him to be. We are all saying “please god don’t get hurt! Please please please please!” If he goes down, it’ll be catastrophic and there is no way to replace that kind of player. Risk management is key. edit: Every team has a player they can not afford to lose to injury. Ours just happens to be the RB.

Competing interests, cognitive dissonance, whatever you want to name it. The thing that can not be reconciled is the cost/responsibility ratio. If he costs “x” then he must take “x” amount of responsibility to make the transaction work for the team. Conversely it benefits the team long term to be conservative with its stars, but coaching tenures are short term at best. You hope everyone can be altruistic and work towards a common shared goal, but business is business. The game be damned. …..basically I don’t fuggin know.

I don’t think you’ll find many that would argue with what you just said. I would hope that’s the way most of us see it.
