Without the silly talk and bubbly gushing like a school girl (which I am definitely guilty), OP is right. I don’t know how else to say it other than, I have an honest emotionally familial tie with Cam. Smitty too, but Cam was different. He affected not just my fanaticism of this team, but I care about the dude. Him coming home is great! It just comes with a burden of guilt, like I want to tell him I’m sorry. My QB is home and I feel like my dog died. However, I get the sense that my shame will turn to anger at the organization again for how they dumped him in the first place.
