Erving and Eflein seem like fit signings. The staff saw something they think they can use. They weren't brought in on hopes and prayers. Money dictates who will start the season at C. We have players with some skill that can hold off a UDRFA challenger. This is how I see it to start the season: Christensen - (Daley/Eflein)- Paradis - (Eflein/Daley) - Moton Brady goes to LT for 2 reasons, he's listed on the team site as a T and Rhule said whoever they drafted in the 3rd round needed to be a day 1 starter.

It'll be confusing for everyone until one of them does something of note or we revert to using jersey numbers.

I’m familiar with the guy. At the end none of us were “fans” of Jake. It got bad. What never changes is how good he was for us for that short period.

It might have something to do with his innate ability to make ridiculous plays look mundane even boring. Sometimes the announcers wont even break sentence and then say something like "The Panthers capitalize on a quick score drive, back after this." It's crazy how his abilities are(not) perceived. We see it, but its so easy to look over him.

Smitty is my favorite player ever. I hold him in higher regard than some family members of mine. That said, there is no one that would be worse for this young team and a psychologically fragile QB than a uber competitive no filter 89 running around practice son-ing everybody.
