For those of you completely out on Bryce after four games, if you remember we played Goff in LA his rookie year and he looked like complete dog poo. McVay got to LA and he looked a lot better. They trade him to Detroit cause they thought he was a system guy and now he is legit a top 10-12 QB.

Some of yall just like being miserable.

There we go. Good drive.
-
Was this funny when you thought about it? Cause it ain't funny.

People gotta stop comparing. The situations aren't apple to apple. We thought we had the better situation and we don't their back up lineman have played well and their young receivers have been good.
-
I don't believe he even took a hit. He was engaged with a lineman and just collapsed.

This Zavala situation looks really serious.

Hope Zavala is okay.

This one could get ugly.

Trapasso: Young's first few starts are concerning

Who? -
A lot of the same issues - line isn’t holding up. - receivers can’t separate although Thielen did a good job of finding openings in the middle of the zone. - Bad concepts, no vertical explosion and too much horizontal stuff. - Bryce missing a couple of chances to throw big plays - Bryce missing zero blitz Obviously a lot of this is connected. Lack of protection being the biggest culprit with respect being able to make those bigger throws and get the offense more vertical, but everyone has blame to take on how bad this offense is playing.

The offense with Bryce is getting worse every week

If you think Bryce is playing anywhere near as bad as Clausen you didn’t watch Clausen. That’s just a silly take. -
It literally asks if he has shown flashes. You understand a flash is not a game?

This. It’s amazing reading this thread. Like are we watching the same thing? The Huddle acts like he takes 5 steps and drops in the fetal position every snap.

Booo hooo its not FAIIIR to Compare Cam to Bryce rookie seasons.

No, I am being an adult realizing not everything is black and white and that we can use nuance instead of not taking everything. Bryce has shown some good things and made some bone headed mistakes. All of this has been in the context of bad weapons and terrible play calling. See nuance. -

In retrospect Chud was the most creative coordinator this team ever had. -

Cam had Jordan Gross and Ryan Kali protecting him; had J-Stew/D-Will to hand it off to; and Smitty, Greg Olsen, and Jeremy Shockey to throw the ball to. Any comparison without the attempt to contextualize is just silly. -
I haven’t been a trade Burns guys, but I think you need to consider it. Not because I don’t think he is worth the money. This teams needs draft capital to support Bryce moving forward.
-
Unequivocally yes.

This is the zapruder film we got? A grainy photo of Bryce with his hand at his nose and closing his eyes? And the most important part. Who gives a poo? Y'all need to go touch grass.

As much as it sucks to say, results don't matter this year. Priority A, B, C, and D is developing Bryce Young. You do that by playing him and watching the progression. For the record, I am high on Bryce still and I think you've seen some good things from him, cannot convince me otherwise. Hopefully, the the immediate results to get better with Corbett coming back and the hope that the offensive staff makes adjustments to open up this offense. Moving forward its about supporting Bryce up front and giving him weapons. I would seriously consider finding a way to get into a position to draft someone like Marvin Harrison Jr. With that said, assets need to be used wisely. Don't make dumb trades for the sake of trading. Its about the long game.

Not trying to pick on you, but why does it matter? We don't have our pick anymore. Its gone. We aren't going to draft either of those guys. You can argue we would have been in a position to draft them had we not traded the pick. How do we know that? It likely would have been Sam Darnold or another vet leading us to 5-6 wins and a top 8-10 pick.
