Giving up on Bryce Young after one year would be absolutely stupid, especially considering what you gave up and the fact you aren’t in a draft position to draft a viable alternative. Say all you want about Bryce, but he was a fairly highly regarded prospect and there is a reason he was drafted first. Fans also need to come to grips with the fact this team likely won’t be a playoff team no matter who QB’s. The goal is improvement in terms of wins and losses, but also QB play and offensive production. if Bryce is truly awful again you’re in a position to draft a QB in 2025, that’s your insurance. Otherwise the idea that we need to utilize resources to get another QB is just doing a disservice to finding out what you have in Bryce when those resources could be utilized in getting weapons and protection.

Dans hire is more about Tepper, not Dan. It’s impossible to know what level of involvement Dan had building the roster, but as you said he was well regarded coming in. It’s just hard to trust anything Tep does and I would have preferred a clean slate, but Dan deserves a chance.

This exactly. If he is good next year you probably aren’t in a position to draft the best QB in 25. If he sucks, you probably are. This team isn’t going to be great regardless, even if they are improved. Fans need to be more patient with Bryce, at least for one season.

What they should do and what they will do are the exact same thing. If this fanbase had their way we would have given up Derrick Brown after year 1.

If you think for one second they are gonna draft a QB high you’re on some drugs. Some of y’all need to start coming to terms with the fact Bryce is going to get all of next year, at minimum to prove himself. They aren’t going to throw in the towel after one season based on the complete poo show it was around him. If he doesn’t show improvement in 2024 drafting a QB in 2025 is possible.

Morgan could be good. I'm not sure anyone knows what his level of involvement has been in building this roster with Rhule in charge and then Fit. The issues is Tep has made so many blunders in hiring that its hard to trust any internal candidate, at least until I see it with my own eyes. He does not deserve the benefit of the doubt at this point.

It was well reported that Houston would have taken Bryce but for the trade. You have to think as OC he had some say in that, so there is most likely by in with Bryce.

Graziano is definitely good, as is Fowler. Don’t think either of these are sourced, but anything with NFL nation means those beat guys too, meaning David Newton. We all know his track record. Not saying it’s crazy to think Callahan will be the guy, but I’m not sure how you can put more weight thats it’s him vs any of McDonald, Slowik, Canales, etc.

On one hand it’s ridiculous that Tepper won’t interview BB and Harbaugh, when they are supposedly casting a wide net. On the other hand, all these big name coaches in the market only helps the Panthers get one of these young guns.
