Gettleman: Oher can be answer at left tackle
The Huddler replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
What moves? The OT FA market was dry and there wasnt an OT in the 2nd round and on that was worth a poo. it was clear we were biting the bullet to set us up for the future. -
Oh, kinda like demarco murray In dallas?

What other options did he have. You completly ignore the cap situation -

being sarcastic doesnt help pople with opposing views understand. It just pisses them off. You should work on giving reasons and premises -

You act like we have the ability to go out on a spending spree. Finding cheap players that can contribute is one of the very few options we have -
How was he so good in college in a pro style offense?

He for sure wasnt inserted as the "long term anwser". He was a stop gap until we had the ability to comb for more options -

At least the head man knows what hes talking about. Theres a few people who are still alive and the rest are rabid zombies -
Spiller behind that cowboys O-line would be spectacular. Him and Adrian Peterson

Good lord, and some of you want to spend like the bucs! If you spend big bucks in FA you are clearly despirate. Who goes on a spending spree like that and goes 2-14. Proves spending big in FA isnt the answer. This is what not looking ahead and planning for the future does to you folks!

I cant even imagine some of the posters on here reacting to this as if we did it

Rumor: Panthers, Titans, and Eagles Contact Michael Crabtree
The Huddler replied to rscott94's topic in Carolina Panthers
I say draft a stud in the first two rounds. fug over priced and recentky injured vets. draft a KB calubur player, spend 1/4 the price. But no, sone of you cant handle not being satisfied instantly. Cant even wait till may smh -

Somehow the gettlehaters will use this to talk mad poo -
If we nab just ONE WR in the first 3 rounds we have our #2. A very young and talented #2 for 1/4 the price. We sihn an over priced FA it not only hurts the cap but itll hurt the development of our young draft pick. and gettleman may very well snag us one of those players you mentioned, but itll be when poo calms down and we wont have to overspend. None of those guys you mentioned would push KB for the #1 and thats what we need. That could be found in the draft. If we spend another 1st rounder on a KB calibur player, those lynching gettleman will look really stupid. Yes, i can understand how you guys can get upset and worried, but yet again, i can see why a young child would get upset oversomething that is clearly nothing. Btw, im also a big cam supporter and i dobt biych when he over throws

Some of you are going Full-Grrbeck again

if last year was an anomaly, so will this year. the crop this year is very talented. if you put them in they will produce. writers are speculating just like us. He's a #4/5 who will be a beast on ST. When called upon he can contribute but I gaurentee all of you he will be nothing more than a #4/5. he is exactly what DG said we would persue. ST guys speed is on the way folks. it was ONE DAY of FA
-
last season, several rookie WRs had a large impact with their respected teams. Odel Beckham Kelvin Benjamin Mike Evans Sammy Watkins Jordan Mathews Cooks the list goes on bud its another WR heavy draft my friend, but youre right, we should have broke the bank for torrey smith, who couldnt even out perform a 35 year old steve smith that will totally set us up in the future

We had a poo special teams. Boykin is an A+ special teamer. What is so bad about this signing
-
Gettleman is addressing ST, which was a bad unit last season. Shame on him. we arent going after an over priced WR the first mother fuging week of FA.
-
This is a 95% special teams signing. Management said we would activly persue ST players. Boykin is a VERY good special teams player and has shown to step up and contribute at WR when needed. A very good value signing. Nope, hes not a #2. Burn Gettleman at the stake!!
