Shaq and Jewell look like JAGs with our current d line. Wallace shows promise and will only get better. Thank God we have corners that can tackle, or teams would be putting 50 up on us. CMC immediately started having constant nagging injuries the second he signed his contract. Moore is an anomaly. Happened with Kuechly too.

We could still have some type of run game. Our o line got manhandled all day long. We had a good running game with Jimmy Clausen. We had a good run game throughout the first 20 years of our existence. Badd drafting and personnel work has ruined this team. We could and probably will fix our run game. No real preseason and new o line takes time. What I saw yesterday was not all on Bryce Young is all I'm saying.

I totally agree. Good qb's open the running game. I just don't think its all on Bryce. Our team failed us from top to bottom.

Bryce was terrible and missed a lot of everyday NFL throws. If he can't settle in and show accuracy he's done in the NFL. That said, we could have run the ball regardless of the INT. O-line couldn't run, D-line couldn't stop the run. Thats a losing combination for any team that doesn't have a HOF QB. Mixon had 160 rushing yards for CJ yesterday. I would argue any QB other than Mahomes needs a running game to succeed.
