  1. We took Silatolu in the 2nd round in 2012, the year Wilson was drafted.
  2. Had anyone pointed out the fact that we could have easily had JJ, Luke, and Wilson since he was a third round pick? So use your 2nd rounder on Wilson, meaning we'd no longer have Silatolu. Which I know would break many hearts around here.
  3. I don't understand how the NBA can justify a 22-3 free throw advantage, when the points in the paint are basically even. I can't watch games when officiating is so one sided.
  4. Houston with an epic comeback while Harden rides the pine the entire 4th quarter. How often does a team blow the doors off a playoff game with their "best" player on the bench?
  5. Why do so many people act like it's just automatic if you want to trade back? It takes two teams for a trade to happen.
  6. Pff has him at 22nd of 25 qualifying quarterbacks at 31.5% completion accounting for drops. Before folks bring up no deep threat know that he was at 31.3% in 2013 with Ginn here.
  7. In the games they won they scored 18, 38, 17, 16, 35, 13. He completed 10 or fewer passes 6 times in 11 games. He only broke 200 yards passing 2 times. Credit Fox and company for managing to put a gameplan in place to work around someone as bad as him. Giving him credit is like giving Weinke credit for the win against Atlanta in 2006 when we ran the ball 52 times.
  8. It's getting a little old how most of our fan base seems to ignore the fact that we have a top 5 tight end as our best offensive player. I'd be pretty tired of hearing Cam had no weapons if I was Olsen.
  9. I think Cam is a much more apt comparison to Delhomme than Wilson. Wilson is more accurate and risk averse than both of them. Cam and Delhomme both lean toward a gunslinger mentality.
  10. If I didn't specifically state 3rd year starting then yes it was their third year in the league.
  11. Luck was 61.7 % this year. Ryan was 62.5, Rodgers 65.7 3rd year starting, Rivers 65.3 3rd year starting, Stafford 63.7, Tannehill 66.4, Wilson 63.1, Dalton 61.9, Flacco 62.6, Romo was 61.3 and that was his only sub 62% season of his career, Palmer 62.3, Brees 65.5 3rd year starting, Orton 62.1 3rd year starting
  12. People seem to forget Johnson was only 20 when we drafted him. Defensive ends routinely stay productive into their mid 30s.
  13. Any argument that starts with comparing highlight reels has already defeated itself before you even start. Almost anyone can look like an all pro if you paste together a dozen good plays out of 16 games and hundreds of snaps.
  14. Even worse 3 other Minnesota receivers were in the top 35 in YAC/catch, so Jennings was actually the outlier in that offense. 34 year old Boldin averaged a yard more a catch in YAC than Crabtree last year.
  15. Cotchery averaged more YAC/catch than Crabtree and Jennings last year.
  16. Take away quarterback rushes and Indy ran about 1 fewer times a game than Carolina. Richardson would have had more carries than Stewart if he hadn't been so awful he lost the starting job.
  17. I'm trying to understand the fascination with Smith as a #2. He caught one more pass than Cotchery in 15 more targets with a 34 year old Steve Smith as his only real competition for looks at wide receiver.
  18. Clifford talked on WFNZ this morning and said not only is Jeff Taylor ahead of PJ in the rotation, but Troy Daniels as well. He has a long way to go to be a core player. http://wfnz.com/2015/03/03/hornets-coach-steve-clifford-talks-mkg-mo-williams-playoffs-run/
  19. Was I the only person that saw blocking add the biggest issue on our special teams and not the returner? Seemed like other teams usually had Bersin surrounded before he even caught the ball.
  20. USA today article says Dr Andrews advised him not to let them physically examine it so soon after surgery. http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/draft/2015/02/20/todd-gurley-scouting-combine-medical-evaluation/23762907/
  21. The whining on here would be epic if Doug Baldwin was Cam's #1 with Jermaine Kearse as the #2. Regardless of how good our defense was people would be screaming for better weapons. Whenever Wilson is discussed his defense is mentioned as a weapon for him, I don't remember the same for Cam last year when we had the #2 defense, or even this year when our defense carried us the second half of the year. It's OK to give other quarterbacks credit for what they do without having to try to diminish it every way possible to make Cam look better by comparison.
  22. I think "better than Bell" may be all we can hope for out of this years free agent class for left tackle unfortunately. If you don't want a rookie starting then Free maybe the best option out of bad bunch of options.
  23. Asking for a pole instead of a poll could lead to a weird outcome with this bunch.
  24. Professor Badass is actually the fashion designer for ESPN Magazine. So it's a good chance that is T.O.
