  1. I think Brady is a douche but I don’t hate him. I don’t think he is intentionally condescending but he is awkward and that was probably evident in the video and why he talks to grown ass men like they are in elementary school. Also, I think he will suck at broadcasting.
  2. Corral has talent but also has an uphill battle. As it stands today, BY is the long term fixture. He should have ample opportunity to learn and grow with this staff.
  3. I think that there are going to be a few guys we lean on early that get most of the looks but over the season you will see it getting spread around more. Not a bad thing as chemistry and experience evolve. I could be wrong as that happens very often but just my .02
  4. Not gonna hate on him for this list. I am sure if he exspleened it, we might not agree with him but we would see where he is coming from.
  5. I remembered Fitt said he was a little “country” and he wasn’t wrong. When they asked what he liked to do in his free time I was waiting for it and he threw in “fishin” at the end. Love it. Seems like a nice young man. I am somehow comforted by a 20 something person throwing out Martin episode plot details but I’m not sure why. Wish him the best.
  6. If you don’t trust the former NFL QB HC who collaborated with the FO to choose Young then who do you trust? I think Dalton came here to mentor a young QB. Can he start if it’s necessary? Yes but it is definitely not the plan. Is he here to be the starter? No.
  7. I’m also much more excited about TMJ than Tremble. I think the staff will do everything they can to help them flourish. Right now Tremble is in the Ian Thomas category of “about to break out any day now”. But problem is any day hasn’t come yet. Hope he does tho as I had high hopes when he was drafted
  8. Homer me: 14-3 Slowly coming back to Earth me: 12-5 Realistic (hopefully) me: Ehh.... 10-7/9-8 (ish) New staff, rookie QB, new defensive scheme. I think there will be some bumps and its gonna take some time.
  9. I'm curious why there is such a disparity in the video reference vs. the statistic. Was there something telling in the video that lead you to the conclusion? No disrespect intended, just wanted to know if there was a compelling trait that was found. I'm not the most technical reviewer of skill but I think he came as advertised. Very good run blocker but needed some development on pass protection. Pass protection (to me) showed improvement throughout the year. Still fairly young so there is room for growth and by far is the best prospect at LT on the roster since Gross.
  10. New staff new schemes and brand new rookie QB. This ranking is probably where we should start the season at IMO. It’s fair.
  11. I think you may need to read a bit before making quick snap judgements if you want to keep that hall monitor job. I am totally on board with BY, thought the article was great and his processing was amazing especially for a freshman. When I said literal and non-sarcastic I meant it... It was a very cool story and nice read.
  12. I mean this in the most literal and most non-sarcastic way possible. A college freshman did that. Damn.
  13. In a 6 minute video the dude summed up the last nine months of posts on the huddle and somehow didn’t insult or ridicule anyone.
  14. While I don’t personally feel this way, I fully understand the rationale and logic of a fan wanting a bad to mediocre team to lose in hopes of improving draft position. What I will never understand is the animosity towards the coaches or a team because they win a game. Outside of illegal betting, collusion, or similar malfeasance, there is no incentive for a player or coach to purposefully lose. That said, the reason why grown ass adults get pissed at other grown ass adults simply because they try to do their job befuddles me.
  15. TLDR: Relax, teams need to go in with this as a consistent approach. I don’t think you trade your starting wide receiver along with future 1/2 round draft capital for a “ franchise QB” to bring him along slowly and try to find a way to work him into the line up. Not in todays NFL. The coaches and FO will do everything to make that happen. Generally speaking, you also don't want to anoint a player a starting spot based solely on where they are drafted. This could lead to complacency (probably not the case with BY) and send signals to other guys who are working their asses off trying to get more playing time. Hence the emphasis on earning PT. It’s the right and most importantly, the consistent message to send to the team despite the pearl clutching it causes with some of the fan base.
  16. I don’t have high hopes on the Sam Darnold reclamation project but hope to be pleasantly surprised. Seems like a good dude and a good teammate. I just think his ceiling is competent backup. And to echo your thoughts, yes he is in as good of a situation that he can be in.
  17. Obviously Jeans Day Friday caught on elsewhere. JR was a trend setter. RIP.
  18. Been out of the country and only had time to read a lot of headlines with that name in but it and have no idea who Dylan Mulvaney is. Gonna click on one of these budlight articles sooner or later but don’t want to engage in it cause it sounds like nonsense. People need to find a hobby other than shiiting on other people
  19. From his post the other day, dude looks like he needs a box of Kleenex.
  20. Are we excluding Kevin Green and Reggie White?. Neither were home grown guys but it’s hard to not at least put them in with an asterisk.
  21. There is some intrigue but I don’t think this moves the meter that much. Unfortunately DJ doesn’t get the props he deserves.
