  1. If we can find a good alternative yes I agree. Maybe not this cutdown period but I think it will come in the next
  2. The Greg Little rationale seems right but also would not be surprised if he is also replaced by a TBD as well. I think we have the ability to upgrade OL depth from bowels of hell suckage to average suckage.
  3. Would pie this twice if I could. I find the troll messages and interaction highly entertaining.
  4. That guy was a professional and embraced his role as the heel. A demented artist of a troll. The ones today are lame copycats.
  5. Denial of this disease due to politics is just so hard for me to comprehend. The mantra seems to be “I will believe COVID is more than a cold when you pry the ventilator tube from my cold dead lips”.
  6. I think the big controversy is that Tepper and Richardson both spent wads of money on GMs, coaches and staff that work year round all the while we have a board full of geniuses that are capable of doing it for free simply by watching YouTube and a couple games.
  7. I Yeah. This. I just finished praising PJ in another thread but it was to point out he seems to be growing and could become a viable backup. Not gonna jump the shark and say he is a starting caliber player. I don’t know whether Darnold is the answer or not but I think jumping to conclusions based on 30 minutes of scrimmage against backups and fringe roster players is a bit dramatic.
  8. I came in to mention this. Was he the best player yesterday? No. Did he exceed expectations when given the chance? Absolutely. Not saying we should scrap Darnold and he is the answer, or that he has nothing left to prove at QB but it was promising to see he looked like a capable backup option.
  9. Noticed this but overall this is acceptable (to me). Would rather have the occasional mistake with brutal honesty than polished empty commentary. I thought his announcing was raw and honest. Overall he gave praise and criticism when it was needed. He does seem to have a soft spot for Grier which I found interesting. I don’t think he went so far to make excuses but did go in-depth on occasion to not heap blame on him. Overall very refreshing.
  10. We have to free up some roster spots for Little and Grier so it’s a possibility… On second thought, no. Not a chance.
  11. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/recommendations/adolescents.html my kids got vaccinated early June and they were 14 at the time. No side effects at all. Very glad they already got the jabs because school is going to be an issue. Hope your household recovers quickly.
  12. When I saw CMC, Moton, Darnold and DJ on the sidelines in street clothes I thought the same thing. Those dudes really did look of of sync today. No use suiting your and playing at all. I’ve seen enough.
  13. A couple by Scott and a couple on the last series. Looking at the guys who committed the penalties, I am not surprised.
  14. He is pumping up Grier. In fairness Grier has not been too bad. But I still think we are a better team with PJ
  15. It is the local feed that sucks. Everything else on YouTube tv is flawless. This is ass tho
  16. Respect this approach but I personally love the sky is falling, arm chair GM, bitch squad. Sure the intelligent discussion is great, but the entertainment from that group makes me chuckle.
  17. Will it heal faster because it was during actual game play vs. a drill? Asking for a friend.
  18. I think they are using joint practices with colts and ravens as the starter preseason reps only difference is it isn’t on TV?
  19. You don’t understand. Yesterday was a “must win” practice.
  20. BR lurking around the camp for a half day and getting feedback from Newton is not real TC coverage. Noticed it wasn’t even a full direct quote from the often flawed Newton. It may be a situationally accurate statement but not sure that it is representative of Darnolds camp performance in totality.
  21. First week of regular season usually has teams playing down to their opponent (strictly my anecdotal opinion). I think you have to look at it as the most important game because it’s the next game. Not because it’s the first game and the NY J is the opponent. If a player or coach sees week 1 of a 17 game schedule as a “must win” they might want to look at another profession.
  22. If you recall I think it took Charles Johnson about 3 years to come into his own. I think being upset at this point might be premature unless he is not used consistently in the rotation. Based on what he showed last year he will be on the field plenty.
