  1. Obviously Jeans Day Friday caught on elsewhere. JR was a trend setter. RIP.
  2. Been out of the country and only had time to read a lot of headlines with that name in but it and have no idea who Dylan Mulvaney is. Gonna click on one of these budlight articles sooner or later but don’t want to engage in it cause it sounds like nonsense. People need to find a hobby other than shiiting on other people
  3. From his post the other day, dude looks like he needs a box of Kleenex.
  4. Are we excluding Kevin Green and Reggie White?. Neither were home grown guys but it’s hard to not at least put them in with an asterisk.
  5. There is some intrigue but I don’t think this moves the meter that much. Unfortunately DJ doesn’t get the props he deserves.
  6. This is good. Only thing I would add is that there will be 2-3 batted balls causing melt down overreactions from some folks.
  7. Agreed that everyone would feel the same and his situation is bad. I do feel bad for him. But the problem is related to how he is dealing with the issue. Lashing out at the folks that can help change your status, who are the same ones writing your paychecks, is probably not the best coping strategy. I do think he should get a shot and may have the talent to stick, but his post does not help his cause.
  8. That is great advice he should have considered prior to posting that statement on the google. He probably has a lot of talent and is in a bad situation but from a business and numbers standpoint he is a 3rd string QB making waves. I think there’s a bit of damage control needed on this one.
  9. This is one of those picks where I will defer to the knowledge of our staff and FO rather than make an immediate judgement on. Would not have had that luxury under Rhule.
  10. My initially impression was that he was a bit nervous (completely understandable and not negative) as he was speaking very fast. However if he was nervous, he was always in control and appeared poised. Answers were genuine and sincere. Seems like a good dude and will be happy to pull for him.
  11. I don’t know that we would pivot from strategy based on a draft pick. my general sense is reacting to a divisional rivals draft pick is overreacting.
  12. I would like to get value at either TE WR or DE. Not sure if that is thru 39 trade up or trade back. I will trust the powers that be though. Since I’ve listed these 3 positions I’m sure we’ll take some other position. Just elated we have settled on a QB.
  13. I think draft grades are highly subjective and pretty much all of them should be TBD. It’s all speculation followed by selective memory of “ I told you this guy was going to be good” while not remembering the 20 other guys you wanted that busted out. I enjoy reading draft grades but mostly for entertainment value.
  14. If my coveted long snapper is there in the 7th (I dont think we currently have a 7th but I have faith in Fitt) and we are fortunate enough to grab him I will consider the draft and off-season a success thus far.
  15. Pretty true comment. I'd say that if this happens there will also be plenty of other people with warm posteriors as well. Probably not as hot as Fitts but there could be some awkward elevator rides.
  16. The “sign Cam and draft bpa” dude gonna be homeless come Friday morning.
  17. The picks are very solid assuming no trades. But I take exception to anyone saying this is the final time I can mock Joe Person. That’s completely absurd.
  18. Yeah. I think the only real drama is at 39. The likelihood of us taking AR at #1 (which is incredibly low IMO) is a much higher probability than trading out. I saw draft day too but it was a movie.
  19. I often make conversation over drinks by making inquisitive stupid comments that are just absurd. I’ve never thought of writing them down and posting them in a forum…
