  1. That was an offense with an OC who trusted his QB to make plays. We now have an offense with an OC who thinks that giving his QB the opportunity to make a play is too big of a risk to take because (*gasp*) there might be a turnover. DIFFERENCE.
  2. Cutting Mike Tolbert saves $2,425,000 on the 2015 cap. http://overthecap.com/player/mike-tolbert/1186/
  3. Queue the Shula lovers to explain to you that, unlike the Dolphins, Shula/Rivera are "testing players". lol
  4. Knowing Ron Rivera and Mike Shula? I'll bet you $10 that what you said above won't be the case (outside of Boykin maybe).
  5. Too late now. But, as I've explained before, even if Shula is fired, the HC will replace him with a Shula clone. The problem is at OC for sure... but that's because of the guy sitting behind the HC desk.
  6. So when they ran a predictable draw up the middle for no yards on 3rd and 10 inside the 10 in the 1st quarter instead of going for and "testing players", they were testing players? Huh. Well I'll be danged.
  7. Yards aren't points. If your coaches don't have the balls to turn yards into points, yards are fugging worthless.
  8. You just watch... Wegher and Ward will be cut/PS and Tolber/Brockel will be on the 53. Watch and learn.
  9. Great time to do it, after the game is pretty much over! At that point there is no risk, and god knows RR and MS are as averse to RISK and CREATIVITY as any coaches in the league.
  10. Boykin running with the 1sts, Mike Brown with the 2nds, Philly with the 3rds.
  11. Mike Brown >>>> Philly Brown? lol... i'm joking. Or am I?
  12. A coaching staff with creativity coaching a team in a preseason game against a team with coaching staff that likes to do thing "da way day've always been done". And it is obvious. This teams greatest achilles heel isn't players or talent or depth. Its at the HC and OC positions.
  13. Our starting D looks average. Our backup D... *shudder*.
  14. I'm realistic enough to know that its a world that will never change (unfortunately).
  15. Yep. Here's the thing that scares me about any past or potential future coaching change... Rivera always seems to replace the old guy with an exact clone. Why? Because THAT'S WHAT HE WANTS.
  16. This would be logical, except for the fact that its the same poo we've seen from Shula every preseason and regular season for 2+ seasons now.
  17. Well, they are playing Miami's shitty 2nd string defense.
