Smart move by them. And I agree, so far he's doing well.

lol I love when veterans think they get automatic immunity because they're veterans. (P.S. I'm a veteran. You're just another person. The difference is you were provided the PRIVILEGE to serve your country.) -

That was beautiful. "You(r coaches) said you weren't going to be conservative." (Cam) "We WERE conservative." Tell the fugging truth Cam. Your coaches didnt trust you (or Olsen or Stew or Tolbert or Cotchery etc.) to win this game. Telling the truth lets us know you understood what happened and how YOUR head coach took the ball right out of your hands. -

It has nothing to do with starting sucking. If our coaches would LET our players play, they are as good or better than anyone in the league. A conscious decision to go into a total shell and run the clock out should not reflect on the PLAYERS. Ron Rivera turned the NFL MVP into the highest paid cheerleader in the league in the 2nd half because thats what he CHOSE to do. It worked. But it was ridiculous and it was ugly. And these Carolina Panthers players could have EASILY won this game on their own, but Rivera had more confidence in his 12th Man, The Clock, over and above his players. -

Ron Rivera has reduced Cam Newton, NFL MVP, to the role of fugging CHEERLEADER. And that saddens me. -

Some of us still believe we win this game, but are just frustrated by the Panthers coaching staffs preemptive surrender. -

It ain't Mike fugging Shula who made the decision to sit on the goddam ball. That's the HC's decision. Ron Rivera chose to turn his team off because he thought that was the "safe" thing to do. Now, with the lead down to 10, he's gonna be DESPERATE in his attempt to turn that poo back ON. Gonna say a prayer that he can somehow. -

Rivera thinks the team can just turn it back on every time he realizes he's turned it off too soon. -

They're going to give this to them. THESE are the refs you're begging to help you, Ron. By all rights it should be "not enough to overturn". But it won't be. -

This is all Ron and his coaches care about right now. They don't want to win this game by attacking. They're just hoping beyond hope that the Seahawks don't penetrate their foetal position. -
