  1. Honestly interesting that Teddy, PJ, and Grier are your stopping points.
  2. Me, being Cam Fan #1? No, please do not go back to Carolina, Cam. Let them stew in their own acidic juices... you no longer have a reason to suffer for it. You have WELL suffered enought. You are the best player this franchise has ever had the honor of having play for them and their recent owner and HC fuged you overtly and intentionally... and a good percentage of the fans hate you for who and what you are. So, no... Just stay retired. You know you never have another worry in life. ENJOY BROTHER.
  3. Here's what I choose to believe from your statement... that you are referring to PHYSICAL talent. And, in that, you would be 100% correct. But the issue with Darnold has never been physical, its all mental. And if you choose to still believe, after the evidence before you time and again, that Darnold is capable of learning and playing the MENTAL game of an NFL-level QB, you are just delusional, my friend.
  4. Truth. A QB who has a true understanding of what QBing is can adjust. Can they make up for their teammates faults? Not entirely but, yeah, some. Darnold (yeah, he's a nice guy) has to be CARRIED. In the NFL of 2021 and forward, that is a position that dooms a franchise to failure.
  5. Is this not a common trait of the utterly common and worst players in the NFL? That they ARE REALLY FUGGING TRYING? Honestly, my brother, I respect your opinions, but that one was weak as fug.
  6. True... maybe he was being a team player with his HC? That being said, he *did* get Andrew Norwell via FA and Taylor Moton in the 2nd round and Oher as a FA in the SB year. Its not like the Gman was IGNORING the position as has been the case in almost every year before and since.
  7. From what I've read, the 2022 draft for QBs is shallow, so you better hope Carolina craps the bed a lot from now to season's end to get that 1st pick.
  8. In general, in the NFL and in the fuging real world, what you see with your eyes is true. The arrogance of NFL coaching and management raises the opinion of their own abilities and blinds them to this.
  9. In my criticisms of Darnold, let me make it clear that I'm not criticizing him personally. Yes, it seems to me he's nice as hell. Nice has nothing to do with winning football games.
  10. Yeah, that's why you FUGGING DRAFT THEM and not try to pick off bargains in the FA market (or low-cost trades who are low-cost FOR A FUGGING REASON). Again, this ain't fugging NFL rocket science.
  11. Well... HCs and owners should, don't you think?
  12. Likely some Cam played behind (remembering the days when MoRon was playing DT at RT).
  13. Good for Sam, do what you need to do to inflate that bank account. This world is all about the $$$'s, so do what you need to do. The credulity comes when considering why the HC and owner thought he was a valid option.
  14. I've been fugging begging and pleading for Carolina to improve their OL through the draft since 2012. And they haven't. Except for some FA moves and good middle round picks by Gettleman over a couple of years, its been utterly ignored. Insanity. Maybe the Panthers should line up all those LBs and CBs that Marty and the new guy drafted on the OL?
  15. Some players have the ability and fortitude to lift the players surrounding them (ESPECIALLY quarterbacks in todays NFL). Some players do not have that fortitude. Football and the NFL ain't rocket science. Every swinging Richard knew what Darnold was before the Panthers traded for him. And that's exactly what he is. Not Darnold's fault. His head coach and owner decided to pay and EXTEND his lack of ability. Good for him. Bad for Carolina and excellent Carolina Panther fans. (That intentionally excludes the $--t-stain fans who aren't excellent.)
  16. And the actuality is that its not Darnold's fault. Its every simping beach who believed that, somehow, reality could be turned on its head's fault. And that includes Rhule. And Tepper, since he hired and supports Rhule.
  17. TN05 was an utterly insane Cam-hater. It's not a surprise he would defend his new (insert description here and you know what I mean) hero until his last breath.
  18. What is the name of the guy in charge of hiring “the football guys”?
  19. Everyone? I guess you weren't reading this forum in the preseason then?

No worries, I can see that I wasn't very clear in my response.

My dude, you were referring to "an NFL player" in Vegas. I was referring BACK to that "NFL player" in Vegas, not to you. Sorry for the confusion if I was not clear about that.

Maybe it’s an excellent opportunity to show personal responsibility and not blame the rest of the world for your vices?

Gonna disagree with you here… unless you were a brain-dead moron BEFORE you got drunk, then *of course* you are aware you are impaired. I myself made the same wrong decision a few times many many years ago in my young and stupid years and got away with it somehow. But I never once woke up thinking “Gosh and golly, I have no recollection of what I was doing!” It was “Holy poo, how did I get away with that act of recklessness and stupidity?” Remove the “awareness” from the act and, just like the insanity defense, you’ve removed the RESPONSIBILITY. OF COURSE he was aware that he was impaired. Then he went out and killed somebody. Fug him.
