Would pay good money to see how tough you would be to his face though.

He's in the last year of his 2nd round, 4-year contract. All the Panthers owe him is his contractually obligated salary.

LOL... gotta love a certain category of Panthers fan... "DO SOMETHING, Gettleman!" (DG does something.) "NOOOOOOOOOO GETTLEMAN! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE! JUST TRADE OUR 2ND AND 3RD ROUND PICKS TO DALLAS FOR TYRON SMITH YA MORON!"

Can't hurt. And if it works out? Hellz yeah!

Isn't SB Nation where that Bucs/UF fan wrote an article about how Cam was the WORST overall #1 pick ever before Cam ever played a down? While simultaneously extolling the virtues of future HoFer Tim Te- bow? And then promising to walk around the Bucs stadium in his underwear if Cam ever had any success?

Good players get "overpaid" in free agency all the time. Just because a player is overpaid doesn't mean he's not a good player. As to your questions: I'll take Pittsburgh Wallace over KB. Olsen over Clay is an easy choice. KB and Landry at this point is a push. One is a WR that makes spectacular catches but frequently drops easy ones. The other is a guy with totally dependable hands, but not the incredible physical skills that make KB so valuable. Neither are noted for speed. If KB can develop reliable hands, he will be the better WR. If not, Landry will be.

Indeed. I can't think of a single person who has claimed that he DOESN'T have work to do (though the "y'all think Cam is perfect" strawman is played constantly). All I'm saying with regard to Rivera is PHYSICIAN HEAL THYSELF. And when it comes to being critical of his players in public he may consider "And why behold the speck that is in your brothers eye, but consider not the log that is in your own?"

Those of us that have observed Dave Gettleman for 2 years and have come to understand (somewhat at least) his team-building philosophy understood his words PERFECTLY and have not been at all disappointed in his off-season moves. Its not his fault that you took his words and started building fantasy castles in the sky out of them. The responsibility for that lies within your own mind.

The Great Pie Debate - Offseason 2015 Edition
tiger7_88 replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
A delicious graham cracker base-crust is essential on some pies (lemon meringue, banana creme). A beautifully browned top-crust is a must on fruit pies (apple, cherry). But, by no means, do you ever EVER want to find crust on and consume the crust from fur pies. The end. -
Mr. Richardson did flex muscles regarding Hardy
tiger7_88 replied to dswofford's topic in Carolina Panthers
You mean Hardy's tendency to hang out with the cocaine and automatic weapons crowd? As compared to Smitty's tendency (and I am no Smith fan) to hang out with his wife and kids? How DARE you be so judgemental, sir! -
Panthers interested in Landon Collins
tiger7_88 replied to Kuech the Sneak's topic in Carolina Panthers
If a hog mollie like Malcolm Brown or a pass rusher like Bud Dupree dropped, DG would be on those guys like stink on poo.- 84 replies
