  1. This is silly. OF COURSE people judge. And you'd be a damn fool not to. Your kid says he has a ride to the football game with another kid who has been convicted of 2 DUIs (and just got his license back) and has been previously charged with drug possession (not convicted). You comfortable with your kid riding with this recently government-reapproved driver? Or are you "judge" this kid and drive your daughter yourself? You need a baby sitter and two nice ladies in your neighborhood offer their services. You've heard a RUMOR that one of these ladies had been charged (not convicted) with child abuse in the past. Which one are you going to choose to sit your child? Gonna have to make a JUDGEMENT aren't you? Judgement in every day life is NORMAL.
  2. Maybe you're right. Maybe Cam isn't special. Maybe he's just an overweight version of Kaepernick like you say. But I've been watching him play since he was at Westlake High School and I say he's different. VERY different. Watching Cam play the dual-threat game just looks different than those other guys to me. More DANGEROUS (to defenses, not to Cam). Unique. But maybe you're right. I'll only believe it when I see it though If anybody can geld that stallion, its Shula I guess.
  3. Why would you restrict him to just one aspect of a dual-game he's the BEST at? I'm of an age that I got to see Bo Jackson and Herschel Walker run the ball in college and after their college careers were over I knew there'd never be another two like them and I was right. They were UNIQUE. Then I saw Bo play 2 major league professional sports at an All-Star level and I knew I'd never see the like again and I was right. He was ONE OF A KIND. Well, I've seen another one in my 5+ decades on this earth and his name is Cam Newton. He's unique. He's one of a kind. A true dual threat able to attack a defense in more than "the way NFL QBs do it". And you want to trot him out on the field every Sunday in a straight jacket. I find that incredibly sad.
  4. Do rushing TDs not count for 6 points like passing TDs? Wow. I think you're onto something previously undiscovered here. Cam still has room for improvement in his passing game? EUREKA!
  5. Let me see if I've got this right... BOBBY BOWDEN is criticizing Jameis Winston? Bobby "Boys will be boys" Bowden? Who wrote a letter to a judge in defense of a serial rapist who was one of his former players? http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/2004-03-05/sports/0403050267_1_bobby-bowden-sexual-assault-michael-gibson Wow.
  6. Your opinion of my fandom is gonna keep me awake at night. Not really, you're not that important.
  7. I'm not the one out there washing peoples feet because I want people to think I'm Wide Receiver Jesus.
  8. I personally don't give a rats ass WHAT you can or cannot take. Kiss that hypocrites ass right on the rosey if that's your deal, but some of us don't give a poo about him.
  9. I think my point is pretty clear. Ol' Smitty loves to make a public and open case about what a great caring Christian man he is. Great, caring Christian men are not petty boys who hold grudges. There's a word in the Bible for those who like to promote the public image of the great, caring God-fearing man but are really petty boys who hold grudges out of the public eye.
  10. What a delicate flower. 36 going on 13. I wonder if he teaches his children to hold and nurse grudges? Because that's what Jesus would do, right?
  11. I think that may have been what they got except for being a repeat-offender (maybe?).
  12. I can tell you how: Dave Gettleman doesn't do it the way the talking and writing-heads demand. Ergo, he does it "wrong". Nevermind back-to-back NFC South Championships, DG obviously doesn't know what he's doing. The big-brains in the media keep trying to help him, but he keeps ignoring them. How dare he!
  13. My favorite Cali beers are Ballast Point. Ballast Point Pale Ale is fugging da bomb.
  14. I support SCP and his alcoholism 100%!!!
  15. Colts fans have the exact opposite problem of Panthers fans in that they are PISSED at their management and coaching for continuing to add "weapons" to Luck's retinue when they already have plenty of them at the expense of their shitty defense.
  16. Because it WAS 22 pages long and enough people made follow-up posts to add another page.
  17. That is yet to be determined. There is still Shula. Has he ever been "dynamic" with regard to running an offense? No. Can he be? That is yet to be determined.
  18. I do like a lil more than a handful. There are exceptions... like Brazilian supermodels. Given the choice, Kate >>>>>>> Giselle. Given just Giselle? Please eat as many crackers in bed as you want, Giselle.
  19. Murdering bastard! Perfect for the CowGirls!
  20. The only thing I admire about Tom Brady is his taste in women.
  21. Again, refer to my very first post in this thread. I call for very harsh punishments. My point here is toward the "they only made it to the Superb Owl because they deflated the footballs" crowd.
  22. Again, the refs fixed the game balls at the half and maintained possession of them, NOT turning over the balls to either the officials locker room attendant or the Patriots equipment attendant. And the Patriots did BETTER in the 2nd half than the 1st. The cheating had absolutely NOTHING to do with the outcome of the game. Hell, maybe the Colt LB doesn't even MAKE his int in the Patriot red zone if the ball hadn't been deflated. I wrote my post previously about how I think everyone involved (including the organization) deserves HARSH punishment. But the game result was gonna be that result no matter what.
