It must be a great embarrassment to Chubby Tepper at this point that, not only did he overpay Fat Fhule and fall for his rah-rah college garbage, he also gave him full control over team personnel contractually. Billionaires don’t like to take steps publicly that scream “Hey look everybody! Look how stupid I was!” And, trust me, if he DOESN’T man up and fire him, Rhule *will* continue to set this organization further and further behind the eight-ball. You think things are at there worst now? You just wait.

Plus I’m willing to bet Rhule’s head coaching responsibilities and control over the team are specified in the terms of his legally -signed contract. In other words, there’s likely only ONE way to “strip” Rhule of any roster-building responsibilities and that is to FIRE him and eat the bitter, financial terms of the contract.

The thing is that the “complete control” of the head coach is likely contractual and not a hand-shake agreement. Ergo, there’s only ONE way to ensure that Rhule doesn’t mortgage more of the organization's future to save his own skin: fire him and eat the contract before he has the opportunity.

That would make Tepper the stupidest billionaire on the planet.

It would be better if you improved your “monitoring” of what other people write and respond to what they actually said and not The Voices.

Honestly, getting your ass first in the hiring queue is "the best time". It may not get you the top candidate(s), but at least it puts you at the head of the damn line.
