  1. This is just flat-out a well below-average QB class in the 2022 Draft and no sane team would spend a Top Ten pick on one. Which is why Pickett should already be pondering his choice of number on his Carolina jersey.
  2. Been saying this for weeks and weeks to the “Keep Rhule/Strip His Power/Year In A Vacuum 2022” true believers but their faith in their cult was unshakeable.
  3. It would be a joy to me to see Matt Rhule fug over David Tepper just like David Tepper is fugging over Carolina fans.
  4. “I could have taken that job on the HMS Dreadnought, you know, but I chose to stay here!”
  5. Stopped clocks. Blind squirrels. Etc.
  6. I’ve been repeating this for weeks now, but still there are some that believe the 2022 season will be a “year in a vacuum” where Matt Rhule will not be allowed to have any influence, power, or control over pthe running of the team. How they’ve convinced themselves of this I have *no* idea, but it’s somehow become a cornerstone of their Carolina Panthers faith.
  7. Well, its pretty much a given that to win in the NFL these days, you need (at minimum) a competent+ QB. Anyone who denies this I think is *insane*. BUT... You are right, a competent+ QB is a luxury player/pick that *will* fail if there is no support around him. I 100% agree with you there.
  8. I sure do. And you I recognize'em in you, every got-dam time.
  9. As long as they are pasty or cornbread, I'm sure you'll be fine with'em.
  10. Well, that’s been crystal clear since the day he announced his “excitement to coach Cam Newton” right after he was hired. The dude is a congenital liar. The thing is, he’s also a narcissist, so he doesn’t even realize it.
  11. Obfuscation. That's why you hire the new GM first and then allow him to do his job with all the subsequent heavy lifting. Happens all the time in the NFL when new ownership arrives. And, not counting expansion teams, franchises being purchased in the NFL are generally not *healthy* franchises. Most owners or groups that own SUCCESSFUL teams are usually not interested in selling. So Tepper isn't unique in stepping into a franchise in "disarray". He is unique, however, in lacking the confidence to immediately do anything about it.
  12. Disagree. The reset should have happened the first day Tepper walked into the owner's office as the new owner. He should have had pink slips waiting on Rivera and his staff as well as Marty Hurney. THEN he should have done his utmost to hire an experienced GM (or a start assistant GM ready to move up) and allow that GM to hire a coach and start building the team. Instead of getting a new set of tires on the Panther's automobile, however, all Tepper has done for years now is invest in patches and replacing individual tires as they blew. So right now, the Panthers organization is *severely* out of balance and alignment.
  13. LOL at the dopes that still believe that this next season will be in some sort of "vacuum" where Rhule is not allowed to have any control over the team, so the Panthers should just "keep Rhule for another year to set things up for the next coach". Self-delusion is skrong in this here forum.
  14. If hired, let me be the first to welcome new 2023 Carolina Panthers Head Coach Jay Gruden.
  15. I think hockey on TV is boring. Hockey in-person sitting in the arena? Fun as fug.
  16. You're talking about the guy who demanded "total control" over the organization to take the job, right? So you're either yet another one of his propagandists or you're naive as hell.
  17. "Where do you think you're going? Nobody's leaving. Nobody's walking out on this fun, old-fashioned (2022 NFL season). No, no. We're all in this together. This is a full-blown, four-alarm (NFL) emergency here. We're gonna press on, and we're gonna have the hap, hap, happiest (NFL season) since (Jim Brown) tap-danced with (Bo) fugging (Jackson). And when (David Tepper) squeezes his fat white azz (into his owners box) tonight, he's gonna find the jolliest bunch of assholes this side of the nuthouse."
  18. If by “approaching” you mean you think Gase is worse than Rhule, I got news for ya. Gase averaged 6.2 wins per season as a HC, Rhule averages only 5 (and this with the advantage this year of an extra game on the schedule). Gase had one winning season as a HC, Rhule has none. Gase had one playoff team as a HC, Rhule has none. By every objective measure, Rhule is *already* a worse coach than Adam Gase.
  19. What you don’t seem to understand is that “the process is 1000% working”, thus next year will be tremendous success, so why not draft your QB of the future?
  20. Social media is much easier if your job comes from the facts and isn’t all about lying and camouflage. Some cockroaches are actually comfortable with and good at lying and camouflage. Keihn likely has more integrity than that.
