Wentz update: Trade is close, with three teams involved
Ivan The Awesome replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Well whether we like it or not we are involved, Fit said clearly we'd be involved in every trade. How deep is up to him i guess. Personally don't want Wentz. -
Teddy being gone doesn´t add to the cap?
-
Poor Mahomes running for his life. Remmers being there...no coincidence.

Ah yes, the pink flaps... fuggin classic.

Was this when that thread about the guy talking about a date or something like that and he mentioned he kissed her forehead and the huddle proceeded to make a meme out of it?

Dude got bodied on TV.

Two 1st, Two 2nd, 2 young players
Ivan The Awesome replied to AU-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Nah, that is too steep of a price, especially with how Burns, Brown, and Chinn are a really great foundation for the defense. At that point just offer them 3 1sts, a second and Bridgewater. -
Panthers confirmed to be in Stafford discussion

I bet they offered Teddy and the Lions said nah. lol -
Holy poo, he's in WIN now mode. As of now tho, the Lions got the better deal. 2 first rounders and Goff? Goff isn't a bad QB either.

Y'all realize that his no trade clause gives him the right not decline being traded to a team he does not want to go? Meaning if he doesn't want to go to the JETS, he does not GO there. Watson has leverage here guys. If he wants to play for you he will accept the trade.

Texans naming David Culley head coach

Watson gone. -
I'm not opposed to drafting him...in the 4th round.
-
The part that I thought was intriguing was definitely when he said about winning close games, making comebacks. Something that Bridgewater is not. lol

No one here said we'd want to get into a bidding war for Stafford. I believe that's one thing every one here can agree on. If the 9ers offer a 1st + more, then good luck to them. Stafford isn't a QB I'd want to spend MULTIPLE picks on.

He was asked what traits he looks for in a QB. Interesting answer.

To answer your question regarding 3 1st rounders for Watson... No I think that's a fair trade. Yes you're not going to have 1st rounders for at least 3 years but by that time Watson will be 28. You can still draft good players after the first. It has happened before and with Fitterer, I believe it will happen a lot more often. You also have to look at the foundation we have already. What does the QB need? A good offense line and weapons. What do we have? Weapons for sure, offensive line is suspect but isn't the WORST in the NFL. You plug in Watson in this offense and you can get away with not having an Elite O line, he's that good. This doesn't mean that they are not going to try and get O linemen to make the Oline better either. People will argue that the Defense is poo. There's also a foundation being built there. Burns, Brown, Matos, Chinn, Jackson are a great starting point. You just need a MLB and maybe another CB to make it better. This team is pieces away but I don't believe it's that off from being a contender IF you get Watson.

This alone makes it worth it. Something that if Asswater would have done, this team would be in the positives. I can count at least 4 games that if he led a 4th quarter comeback or had a game winning drive, this team would be 9-7. But yeah Let's keep saying this team is not "one player" away. I really hate that term because you have to look at it from different perspectives. This team is not one player away from what? Competing? Winning a Super bowl? Being over 500? Be specific because with that one player (Stafford) I believe you can be competitive and over 500. Easily.
