  1. Was looking for this thread. Dude got beat like a drum. He was abused by Heinecke the whole game. 2 of those 3 TD's were on him. Guy has been overrated for the longest time.
  2. Sam can be a back up for all i care, starter, nah. Cut your losses Rhule, don't play the Rivera game and hold on to a player when you have a better one on the roster.
  3. I see the Saints dropping another L, Bucs tho, nah. Tom Brady doesn't have consecutive L's like that. I honestly expect them to stomp their opponent.
  4. I think the most comical thing about last night was definitely when Matty Ice was done for the game and his back ups came up and threw INT's. lol
  5. We did sneak into the playoffs on a losing record...Just reminding you that he's even had fortune smile on him and he STILL couldn't muster much with all the talent he was given.
  6. We need to focus on us, WIN this Sunday. Let it all sort itself out. Can't be looking too far ahead into the future that you mismanage the present.
  7. I love Rivera, as a person. He was a great person and leader in the community. I have no quarrels with that. As a Coach. I will be eternally pissed at him for pissing away Cam AND Luke. He single handedly threw away a super bowl by not knowing what he had and knowing how to use them. Two generational talents wasted. Absolutely livid. Had we had a more competent coach, my mod what could have been. We'd be talking MULTIPLE championships.
  8. Interesting tidbits from Simms, i started it at the Panthers section. Thing that stuck out to me is that they used "elite" to describe the Defense and this is a Playoff defense. Consensus is that we can go far with this Defense.
  9. As much as Rhule and the coaching staff says this came to fruition because they sat down and had a tough conversation, I don't believe. I believe Tepper just stepped in and put his foot down and told them to get their poo together. Rhule AVOIDED Cam like the plague.. I have a hard time believe they swallowed their pride as much as they give themselves credit for because at the end of the day Tepper pays their checks and he was not happy. So I give credit to Tepper mostly.
  10. I've seen a lot of people complaining about that throw on twitter and FB, but I don't see what they were complaining about. Yeah the throw was SLIGHTLY behind DJ but Cam threw 40 yards...from our 38 to the 18 where it drew a PI. I mean wtf y'all want?
  11. Get hammered before going into the stadium, beer is expensive.. At least it was last time I went and that was back in 2010 (?).
  12. You may be right, I just don't want to overlook Rivera. He has a knack for screwing this franchise over and I DO NOT want him to screw us over while we are in our Playoffs run. An L would derail this team in the standings. I'm not too sure about morale but in the standings for sure. The next three weeks they need to win all 3 to have a chance after the bye week. The last part of the schedule looks brutal.
  13. I just saw that Rhule named him starting QB... oh boy I hope Cam learns quick af.
  14. Man...That's crazy. If they feel that Cam has this playbook down that quick, well fug it man... xD
  15. .. that what they did yesterday, was the exact reason some of us support them. Yes they made terrible decision, yes they TRIED, because lets not forget, the previous regime did NOT try. At least this regime tried to find other avenues and ways, but coming back full circle with Cam. What they accomplished from Thursday to Friday's rehearsal practice. Joe Brady showed us that not only he is a football Genius, but the man has common sense. Something we can all say is just as valuable as having a cerebral offensive mind. I just hope they ease Cam in. I know a lot of people will say "you don't pay cam to be the back up, you don't pay him 10 mill...' Yada yada. please don't bring money into this. .It doesn't matter how much he is getting paid, the man was eating cereal just last week, had literally a day and a half to prepare and executed masterfully. Joe Brady, whatever he did, whether he made a micro playbook for him or took existing plays and adapted them to Cam, did a wonderful job in short time span. Right now, they need to use more common sense. Rivera knows Cam, he's got 10 years worth of Intel on him... pump the breaks on the Cam taking over full time right now.. I honestly believe the correct call would be to, again make some plays for Cam and have PJ move that ball. Whether we like it or not Having both QB's out there gives us the better chance at winning. Egos are aside here, one goal, one mind, Just fight, and Win. Whatever it takes. The playoffs started for us yesterday.
  16. Boy I was laughing my ass off with joy when I saw CMC celebrate. The man let it all out.
  17. That ball was just a wee bit off, but it's nothing to be concerned about, it drew that PI call. The man was eating cereal last week, let's not over analyze the throw.
  18. Cam is the one player that you add and everything all of a sudden fixes itself. The O can score efficiently all of a sudden, the O-line looks good for once in a month now, The defense is a constant, I never saw them as a problem. Time management is all of a sudden good. Even the coaching staff calling time outs so they don't' get penalties...I mean Jesus, just one guy joining your team and the energy is through the roof. All of a sudden, there's hope. There's vindication. There's a spark. it's mind blowing.
  19. Rivera knows Cam, he knows his abilities what he can and cannot do. What he doesn't know is the offense or verbiage. If Joe Brady is a genius like everyone says he is, then he can just adjust his playbook and add more plays to Cams limited plays. Because he has to be limited. Having both QB's could actually work in their advantage. Rivera will have to account for both. The obvious thing here is that Cam will be in short yardage and goal line situations since CMC can't penetrate the goal line if his life depended on it for some reason. Given the plays he ran today I think he had around 10-15 plays ready for him. Brady could increase his playbook by 10 or so more plays. Obviously not using the ones he used today. I'd like to see Cam score via receiving a TD lol that would be fuging amazing.
  20. I don't see a problem with that, i was actually thinking about this while the game was going on. PJ was moving the ball well until his INT that was tipped, QB by committee is fine until Cam can learn everything in the offense. if you could tell, they did a masterful job, that really was more common sense than anything, by making a small section of that playbook catered to Cam and his abilities. Honestly that's what they need to do. Just use common sense and cater to Cam in the playbook. Have a set of plays specifically for him. Ease him in. I would not be opposed to that at all.
