  1. Huddle logic. Panthers getting torched need a #1 CB. Panthers pick best CB with highest ceiling and intangibles that can't be taught (wingspan, height, length) Huddle: RhUlE GoNnA Be OuT oF ThE LeAgUe In 3 YeArS! lol Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh.
  2. What the hell are you on, They had Top 10 D for several years in early Newton years. Even were #1 for a while in 2015. How is that not Elite? lol wtf.
  3. Notable performances by Panthers’ new CB Jaycee Horn Jaylen Waddle 1/1, 12 yards Jerry Jeudy 1/1, 7 yards Justyn Ross 2/4, 14 yards Kyle Pitts 1/3, 20 yards Seth Williams 1/9, 44 yards, 2 INTs Elijah Moore 7/10, 47 yards (2 games)
  4. Things that would disappoint me. -Fields being there and not taking him. -Taking Waddle at 8. -Not trading back and getting assets if certain players are gone.
  5. I'm tired of the Narrative that the OL wasn't good when Cam was here. It had two pro bowl Guards a fuging Pro bowl C and Two decent Tackles before they met fuging Von Miller. Y'all need to stop with that narrative. What he didn't have was fuging weapons and a competent OC and coaching staff. Newton carried this god damn team on his back several times and he NEVER got a god damn #1 WR. He had a decent Defense but even that wasn't enough due to Coaching. Newtons career was pissed away by the coaching staff riding his talent instead of harnessing it and developing it and surrounding him with more weapons. Don't even talk about CMC and DJ being there for him on the Tail end of his career either. The Oline has been bad the last years of his tenure here. But not all his career. Also this thread is ass.
  6. I've been in the huddle for about 10 years and ever year this is posted. Like clockwork.
  7. What I do not understand is why would the Ravens trade him? Do they have 2 elite LT's or what? I don't understand why they would get rid of a top talent like that.
  8. I don't see how this is comforting seeing as we traded for a Former ....JETS...QB.
  9. Guessing you're now a Train-derailment, due to going positive. lol
  10. This truly will be BPA. The holes are being filled nicely. Only uncertainty is T and QB ( I know we have Darnold but he's still an unknown), but it's looking like this is gonna be BPA most of the draft.
  11. Look man... this team is setting itself up really well for the draft. That Defense is going to be lethal.
  12. These cases are super delicate. It's best to just reserve ones opinion until the facts have been brought in. I for one am going to wait for this to be played out.
  13. DJ is criminally underrated. People just think TD's are the stat to look at. But this guy is just a YAC machine. Moore's option will be picked up. Not sure why Breer added him to that list.
  14. I'm sorry but if Fields is there at 8, you have to take him. The QB position needs to be addressed on way or another. You don't have the luxury to trade away potential Franchise QB's when you are LOOKING for a Potential Franchise QB. Makes no sense.
  15. Seeing Brandon Beane in the top 5 of GM's that are drafting makes me die inside. fug JR, Bean would have been amazing here. Sigh.
  16. If either of them falls, I would not be mad if they pick either of them. They need to find the QB of the future one way or another. But I would also be for seeing what team is willing to give up several picks and move up and have the Panthers move just far enough to get Darisaw or Horn, Phillips, TOP LB, whatever. Compensation would have to be very good, I'm talking about multiple picks. This years 1st, 2nd or 3rd this year, a first next, or second. Depending on who it is and how much they are willing to give up for Lance or Fields.
  17. I'm following that twitter thread and there's another guy with sources saying that it's complete BS. Not sure what to believe but if what Lammey said is true, then the Panthers played the Market and got him for 2nd. That's a steal. The underlining theme here is that the Panthers are not the only ones that were seriously looking at Darnold. IT tells you all you need to know about his value and what was given up for him.
  18. That's okay. This is the guy the Panthers need to draft. I know this teams needs help in the T department but the current Corners that the Panthers have are....below average at best. Seeing how the board might shake up. I believe the 6'1 205 pound Horn can be that #1 CB we've been missing since Gamble and Bradberry left. At #8 some may think it's too high to take him, but unless there's a trade partner within the 11-15 mark, I don't think Horn will be there. Ideally, trading back just far enough to get him and assets would be phenomenal, but we'll have to wait and see.
  19. Sounds like Marty Hurney Extending Jake Delhomme after a horrible game.
  20. Uh no. Those are not in the same seeing as one position is a strength and the other is a weakness. Chase is not the pick especially with Robby, Dj, Moore, etc, etc. TE on the other hand is a relative unknown and having a top tier prospect as a TE only opens up the playbook and helps Darnold (or whomever is the QB) to succeed. Chase would be a wasted pick in the relative short term. Tight End is lacking and if Pitts and Chase are there (all OT's gone), I hope this brass has some brain cells and makes the right call and choses Pitts and solidifies that position for a decade or more. That's the thing about this pick. We're in a prime spot to take the best available player that is also a need due to how the board shakes up. WR is not one of them tho.
  21. I wouldn't be too worried about it, I'm sure he couldn't throw that fit over 20 yards.
  22. lol no way they release him with out some compensation, if they do that would be the WOSRT singing the panthers have ever done.
