What I realized about a Burns Trade:
Ivan The Awesome replied to SaltAndPepper's topic in Carolina Panthers
If you were talking about the Bears that was not in the cards. Bears GM insisted that it would take DJ and a 1st. -
When you get 42 points scored against you two weeks in a row... Winning out is really not an option.
-
Let's be real. Reich and Fitt are safe. Doesn't matter how right most of us are that Reich and Fitt aren't it, Tepper is the one that makes those calls and so far he hasn't made the right calls at all.

McDaniel: Bryce is a baller with a bright future
Ivan The Awesome replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
13:44 for those that don't want to search the whole video like I did because OP couldn't be bothered to say where it was. -
I know everyone is all doom and gloom at the moment but Bryce has gotten better each week, relatively speaking for a rookie. The emphasis that he brings up is his footwork which I do agree, Bryce gets happy feet and that affects his timing. When you add the O-line being in shambles and WR's being slow af with the vanilla play calling. It's a lot for him. It all depends on what the coaching staff decides to do now. You hit rock bottom, how are you going to move forward and get back up?

Panther Shopping for Number 1 caliber WR, Top Priority
Ivan The Awesome replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Van Jefferson is up for grabs, I don't know if he's a #1 but he's definitely a decent WR. -
Mecole Hardman - Potential Trade Target?
Ivan The Awesome replied to UNCrules2187's topic in Carolina Panthers
What about Darnold? Why skip that little dousey? Henderson hasn't panned out that well so again, over paid. -
Mecole Hardman - Potential Trade Target?
Ivan The Awesome replied to UNCrules2187's topic in Carolina Panthers
"Can't hurt IMO.." Yes. Yes it can. It has hurt for the past decade. Fitt will over pay for that practice squad caliber player. -
apparently Reich is leaving personnel decisions on plays on their respective coaches. So you can thank ol' Deuce for that. Frank won't say it out loud but that's who's responsible for not having Chubba touch the ball more often.

Barnwell: Panthers have the slowest WR routes in the NFL
Ivan The Awesome replied to Dorian Gray's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'd look into the 3 cone drill more than the 40 time. Fast breaks are how most of WR's get open. This is why I wanted Tank Dell instead of Mingo, but here we are. -
A lot of Bryce's production is in garbage time tho. Which kind of sucks.
-
He even has blockers to the left but he chooses to go right where there are not only no holes but less blockers and more defenders. OMFG this guy.
-
I am very vocal that I did not want him and wanted CJ. But I will keep my track record of giving a guy 3 years. I'm not giving up on him since the situations he's in right now deteriorated so fast. No clear weapon other than Theilen (which isn't optimal), O-line is in shambles, RB is ass cheeks and dare I say Chubba is the best RB in that group. Bryce doesn't have the physical traits to carry this team on his back like Cam did. They HAVE to give him help. It goes back to his physical traits. He has the mind for it but his physical traits are limited. That's not on him either, that's on this coaching staff. You knew it, you chose him. Work around it or help him.
-
He might not have done that but he's a coach, he's supposed to you know? Coach, them? Not saying he should be the offering but every coach in this staff is culpable for a 0-5 start.

You know it's serious when rayzor decides to use capital letters.

What's Burns worth at this point?
Ivan The Awesome replied to electro's horse's topic in Carolina Panthers
He's not worth 2 first rounders. He's worth 1 first rounder now. His position and skill demands that price. Just because we are ass as a team does it mean Burns isn't worth that anymore. He will not garner 2 first rounders ever again. Unless there's a team that's in the hunt and their pass rusher goes down, you won't see anything as high as what the rams were offering. -
Mr “I won’t stand up for Mediocrity” observes practice today

Sincerely doubt it. -
Panthers GMs Draft History After Round 1 (Analysis)
Ivan The Awesome replied to Jay Roosevelt's topic in Carolina Panthers
What exactly are you basing the emphasis on the busts? What metric? Because it's its your opinion I don't think that's how it works. Genuine question. I am aware of Fitterer and his poo GM'ing. But I'd like to know the quantifiers. -
Panthers are positioned very well for 2024 and on

Bryce could be a future cautionary tale...
Ivan The Awesome replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
To be fair, It isn't Zavala's fault he's a rook and Colbert is hurt. -
Reset. Fire HC and GM. Pair a new one with each other. We can't be doing this "Fire HC, keep old GM. Hire new HC, fire old GM. Hire new GM, fire old HC. Hire new HC" poo.
