  1. Love Graham, but you have to continue to build around Bryce if the plan is going to work. Spent a lot in free agency on OL this year to give him time. Added a promising young TE, and WRs with potential. Also, may have created a dynamic running back core. Finish the job and get T-Mac if he is there. Young will flourish and the team will make sense and we’ll have a path for the future.
  2. What’s the point of risking injury to starters if they’re just gonna play the opposing team’s second team? Jets probably said yeah we’re good, not playing our starters and we responded accordingly.
  3. Young is going to be excellent next year with more time in the pocket and a dangerous run game. It’s going to be a lot easier and he’s going to have a lot of fun.

  5. TJ Tampa all day with our first pick. That guy knows how to play CB. His very similar to Horn, and could start by mid season. He’s a steal in the 4th. Good grief.
  6. If we get offered another 24 or 25 3rd round pick, we’re trading back
  7. Seems clear our front office feels there are no more Day 1 contributors, so maximize value of remaining picks.
  8. We knew they were cutting to commercial so we traded. Suck it, NFL and Disney! This is our house!!
  9. Have thought about this a lot and agree. Penix is incredible, and having him as insurance in case Bryce gets hurt or doesn’t pan out would be great. And if Penix is the real deal then we have our QB of the future and we got him with a second round pick which obviates our need to sell the farm to draft a future QB or overpay for a mediocre FA.
  10. Agree. Dan is hoping to turn 33 into a next years first. There may be a QB like Penix that falls and someone will trade a first next year for him.
  11. Which is why they may want Penix in the second round as opposed to the first.
  12. A team like the Seahawks may want to trade up to our pick to get a QB. So if we don’t love the value of the available players, a trade might be worth it.
  13. I think someone really good falls to 33 that BPA is the choice.
  14. Top Center (barton or powers-johnson) Brandon Dorlus (perfect strong side Edge) Cade Stover -excellent route runner in the middle of the field Marshawn Loyd
  15. Thank you. I wanted to use fewer words, but I think you correctly and succinctly explain my intended point.
  16. The history of Tepper’s hires, and history of not promoting Wilks, in addition to reports of his focus on hiring from organizations he admires for how their organization is run is going to hurt us if he prioritizes organizational process over hiring a coach that instills or inspires toughness and a culture of accountability. Players don’t play hard and dedicate themselves because management is well run. In todays NFL, successful teams are ones who have one of two things: 1. A genius HC/OC who’s so good, respect is earned by the results which instill confidence in every player that they can win every game, and will win every game if if they play tough, e.g. Shannahan, Reid, Lafluar, and Sirianni, ; and 2. A natural born leader who demands toughness by inspiring his players to understand there’s no other way to win, e.g. Vrabel, Dan Campbell, Demeco Ryans, and Sean McDermott. Ron River and John Fox instilled and inspired toughness, which was our calling card. Both had to take teams that were lost and aimless and it was toughness that got us out of a hole. WILKS! He reversed the entire teams persona and the results speak for themselves. All this to say, we need an inspiring leader to instill toughness, which consequently raises the standards of the entire team. We don’t need an approach that values organizational structure over toughness. Both are ideal, but the primary factor should be, can this coach inspire this team like John Fox, Rivera, and Wilks did?
  17. Keon Coleman, huge fast and giant catch radius to accommodate the angles Bryce has to throw from due to his height and awful O-line.
  18. I think the extra second the o-line is giving Bryce is helping him see maturation in the routes and route concepts that he previously had no chance to observe. You can tell he’s still late in his decision making, but you can see his excitement when he sees what he expects to see, and now that can he see the offense working it’s giving him greater confidence in the scheme.
