  1. 20 point lead at the half...with a great defense to protect the lead and your offense getting the ball to start the 2nd half. How many HCs(or fans) would be upset with that?
  2. When your defense is playing lights out, has scored 2 TDs, and the offense has added 3 FGs, why would he (or any HC/OC) play it any other way? It's almost like asking a Panthers fan to try enjoying watching the team win for a change, instead of second-guessing every single play.
  3. No doubt. Every game thread looks the same. You'd think that pointlessly crying and complaining would get old and/or embarrassing after awhile.....
  4. Don't forget the fact that he ran out on the field and knocked the ball out of Olsen's hands in the end zone. Clearly would've been 6, if not for Shula.
  5. Fans crying in the game thread while the Panthers are winning. What a shocker.
  6. What game are you watching? That was a great drive.
  7. Jim Kelly ran the no-huddle offense in Buffalo. He's still in the HOF,right?
  8. You must be clairovoyant and/or another one of those youtube scouts. All kidding aside, Did DG get lucky when Shaq Thompson fell to 25? I'm guessing that he must've been in the top 10-15 on a lot of teams' draft boards for this to be such a brilliant pick.
  9. Here's to hoping. If nothing else, at least Byron Bell won't be one the glaring weaknesses on the OL next year. Team needs aside, it still seems like an incredibly risky pick. It seems like a lot of people are assuming that he'll be able to to grow into LB and that he's ready to plug right in at Safety until TD's gone. It's jmo, but that hardly seems like a given when he's never even played Safety before. If they wanted to go the Safety route over WR and OT, Landon Collins seems like the smarter/safer pick. I don't get the Kam Chancellor comparisons at all. Chancellor's 6'3" and a freak of nature at Safety. Shaq Thompson seems more like a classic tweener. again jmo and hopefully it's way off.
  10. Too late. I guess your parents would say the same thing, though.
  11. As long as it's still the team with the most points that gets the W, having an offense that can put points on the board should be considered "helping the team win". Look at the college game right now. The NFL's trending in that direction, too.
  12. I wouldn't think of Perriman and Dorsett as "second tier WRs". Both of them were off the board by pick 29.
  13. What sucks is that murdery thing probably kept Humphries from being there at 25.
  14. That must be why OTs were flying off the board in the first round. Not gonna lie, i was hoping for DJ Humphries or a WR. Humphries went off the board at 24, Perriman at 26, and Gettleman screwed the pooch at 25,imo. I'm still waiting to see him draft an OT in ANY round of a draft. It's not like it hasn't been a major need for the last 4 or 5 years.
  15. Gettleman will never commit to building around Cam. It's seriously like he's trying to sabotage his career.
  16. I believe him. It'd just be nice to see him put some OTs on his board for a freaking change(and trade up to get one, if need be). Maybe he can resign Byron Bell.
