At this point, they might have to start grabbing fans from the crowd just to field an OL.

Make sure to get yourself some Rodney Scott's BBQ downtown while you're here. He's literally the best.
Rodney Scott is very good. I'd put HomeTeam over in West Ashley right there with him.

Don't expect to see Fields starting any time soon unless something happens to Dalton. Andy Dalton is firmly ahead of Fields on the depth chart.
Bears open with the Rams, Bengals and Browns. There's a real chance they'll be 1-2 or 0-3 and the pressure to start Fields will be very high, whether he's ready or not.

if you go to the link, click on the logo to take you to the main page, there is a watch live button in the top right corner. No guarantee it will be there tonight, but I'll be trying.

Just watched the Hall of Fame game and neither starting QB played . I understand there was health reasons . How much do you see Darnald playing in our first preseason game? The backup QB is very important . The backup QBs for Dallas and Pitt looked pretty good . How do you think ours will look ?
Well Dak was hurt and Big Ben's going into his 18th year. He doesn't' exactly need many preseason reps at this point.
With four preseason games, teams had a pattern, but I don't know how teams will parse out reps with just three games, especially after having zero preseason games last year.
I think we'll see Darnold play a couple of series at Indy, maybe a quarter against Baltimore and then back to a series or two against Pittsburgh, depending on how both he and the offense look. But that's a pure guess.
Just put CMC in bubblewrap and don't even give him a helmet until Week 1.

Uuuuhhh, yeah. I don't give a rat's ass about jersey sales, or ticket sales, or sales in general.
Only thing I care about is whether we win or lose.
Winning is the surest and fastest path to jersey sales, or ticket sales, or sales in general.

It's much easier for a defense to provide press when there aren't pads on.
It's great to hear he's playing well. Once he figures our his SpiderMan suit and all his weapons he's going to have a great year.
Sam Darnold : Enhanced Quarterback Mode? Yeah!
Karen : Activating Instant-Touchdown.

There's still Brady sized hill to climb between us and the NFCS crown.

The biggest concern I'd have from Fields doing well is that it emboldens Tepper to get more involved. Even more so if Darnold doesn't pan out.
Look, I was the biggest Fields fan pre-draft. Loved the kid. I was screaming at the TV for us to take him. But we didn't. We aren't getting a mulligan. He's a Bear.
But now put yourself in David Tepper's shoes. You were right about Fields. You knew it, but you trusted your football people and it blew up in your face (scenario assuming Darnold is Jet's Darnold again.) Now when the draft comes around again, and you get a conviction about a prospect, you're probably more likely to throw your considerable influence around. That would be my concern. I hope that makes sense.

It is not unreasonable to propose that we have the potential to have the ROY on offense and defense.
Discuss.
If any of the first round QBs hit, its a lock they win ROY.

From what I’m gathering the Colts have had a terrible camp, wonder how that translates into our joint sessions.
Their defense is still really good which should give us a great read on our offense. Both of the teams we are having joint practices with have good defenses.

Playing for the Cowboys gives any player a boost in these types of awards (MVP, OROY, DROY, DPOY, OPOY). The Cowboys are just shown more often so more people see them outside of highlights, though things like the Red Zone channel are probably helping to even the field a bit.

This all but assures the first round pick the Eagles got for him reverts to a second round pick.

There's a distressingly high number of players on the team who we can say that about: "seems fine (when healthy)"
