Talk to me about the Patriots, what do you know?

Our defense is aggressive. McDaniels is going to call so many screens on Sunday. -
Abdullah?

I took your post to be saying the Patriots weren't a good team. I was saying that you might be underestimating them, because they just beat a really good Chargers team.

They just beat the Chargers...

In overtime...

In case you're wondering, the most interceptions thrown by a quarterback in a game is eight. That dubious record belongs to Jim Hardy of the Chicago Cardinals in 1950. Six quarterbacks have thrown seven interceptions in a game. Against Belicheck, PJ could put himself in the record books...

I'd love to find a 2022 version of Jake Delhomme. Nobody was throwing a parade when we signed Jake. He wasn't even the game 1 starter (that was Peete). But as soon as Foxy put him in the second half, it was on.

I wouldn't say Fields is having a good season, but yesterday was his best day yet (ironically the day without Nagy there). But wow this play reminded me of a QB we used to in Carolina.

This is Sam's day against Atlanta.

Les Snead: No one can accuse me of drafting busts if I don't have any draft picks... -
Some people can't get past win = Sam played good. That's not the always the case.

Rhule might have Head Coach on his business card, but this team is run by Phil Snow.

Opposing team's rushing defense should be a fairly good predictor of success going forward. Looking at our last 9 games: Patriots - 16th (112.8 yds/gm) Cardinals - 20th (120.1 yds/gm) Football Team - 10th (102.6 yds/gm) Dolphins - 19th (115.8 yds/gm) Failcons - 24th (125.1 yds/gm) Bills - 5th (86.6 yds/gm) Bucs - 1st (78.0 yds/gm) Saints - 2nd (79.4 yds/gm) Bucs - 1st (78.0 yds/gm) This strategy can work against the Dolphins and Failcons. I'll call those wins to get us to 6. It may work against the The Cardinals, but this game will show Rhule how an elite QB can overcome this strategy. It may work against the Patriots, but the coaching edge probably puts them over the top. It looks unlikely to work against the Football Team. It's almost certain to fail against the Bills, Bucs x2, and the Saints.

For two second day picks. https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/1455209342534361100 The Rams don't like to draft.

The offense line was actually adequate vs the Falcons

We need to be sellers. The win yesterday felt great, but we aren't a playoff team this year. Get back our 2nd and 3rd round picks we traded away and load up for the upcoming draft. -

Baltimore was signing the likes of Le'Veon Bell and Devonta Freeman. New Orleans just had to trade for Mark Ingram. That tells me there isn't much to be had. Marlon Mack was supposedly shopped by the Colts but there's no way they trade him in the division to the only team that is a real competitor to win that division.
