This is the same medical staff that misdiagnosed Gano's injury. I don't have a lot of faith the medical staff handled this correct. Maybe misdiagnosed after ATL or misdiagnosed during the NE game.

Speculation: Smith was probably removed from our board entirely with a medical red flag.

We know from the articles written after the trade that Phil Snow went to Rhule to suggest bringing in Darnold, not Joe Brady.

It just makes me wonder why the defensive coordinator is making the suggestions for the next quarterback and why is Matt Rhule listening to him. I would imagine that it would be the offensive coordinator that would make the suggestion to the head coach. 

Snow is Matt's mentor. Rhule may have head coach on his business card, but Snow has a huge influence on how this team is run.
