  1. I'm really only worried about not giving up our future 1st and 2nd. I'm not crazy about giving up a future 3rd. Just a thought, but we saw QBs last much longer last night than most thought they would. That trend could continue. We may have options in the late 3rd or even close to our own 4th round pick that we didn't think would be there. At that point moving up costs way less. A future 5th or 6th. No problem to get back into the late 3rd is much more palatable than giving up our 2023 1st to get back into the 2nd round.
  2. Maybe I got a little carried away saying fourth round. I was giddy over getting Ikem. The kid still intrigues me.
  3. Give me QB Cole Kelley if he's still on the board in the 4th. 6'7" 260lb, elite physical gifts.
  4. You won't like what you see. But now everyone will finally understand it wasn't the OL that was the problem for Darnold. It's between his ears.
  5. It doesn't sound like a Deebo trade is happening tonight.
  6. Great minds. I don't know about head scratcher but my disappointment was screaming for Jones or Fields last year.
  7. DeAngelo. The ending of Good career with us was terrible but I was super excited when we drafted him.
  8. TD will announce our next pick after round one. If they have to bring him up in the fourth round they will. The same thing will happen with the Rams announcement.
  9. As long as we come out of the draft still in possession of our 2023 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks, I'll be okay with whatever else we do. If we can come away from the draft with someone else's 2023 1st or 2nd round picks in addition to still having our own, that would be even better.
  10. This is pretty much word for word what I was told when questioning the Greer pick...
  11. I always liked Greeny on the radio morning show, but he hasn't translated as well to TV for me. I'm not sure why.
  12. This discussion sort got started in the Pick Tipping thread but I'm interested in knowing if you prefer NFL Network or ESPN for the draft coverage and why. I had gotten into the habit of watching NFL Network because I like some of their talent like Rich Eisen, Charles Davis, and David Jerimiah.
  13. Why would the Chargers take a LT when they got Slater last year?
  14. Another factor in the trade up scenario was brought up on the Rich Eisen show. This off-season, WR surpassed DE and OT as the position with the second highest percentage of cap dollars dedicated to it after QB. This could have teams lookout for dynamic young receivers on a long five year rookie contract. NYG (7), ATL (8), SEA (9), and NYJ (10) all have a big need at WR. This could put pressure on a team like GB or KC to move up. At the front of the line for all those WR needy teams are your Carolina Panthers at # 6. If NYJ or SEA want to jump NYG or ATL, we are the team to talk to. If KC or GB want to make a big jump, we can give them the ticket to whichever WR they covet.
  15. I misread it but I caught my mistake after the window to edit had closed.
  16. The only real positive I took from the press conference is Tepper acknowledged he didn't know what he didn't know. That's the first step before you can truly learn and improve.
