  1. We can't really be sure if Fit isn't part of the problem, too. Do like Minnesota did this past offseason and start over. New GM. New HC.
  2. That Shanahan/McVay offense is so much fun. In addition to McDaniel, O'Connell (Vikings rookie HC) had Minnesota rolling with it. My only concern is that by the time we adopt it, so many teams will be running it and it won't be as effective.
  3. That was the most concerning thing to me. We've invested so much in the CB room (Horn over Fields, re-sign Donte, trade for CJ) but still can't seem to stop the pass.
  4. We were much better in the third quarter than just about anytime last year. The third quarter was a disaster last year.
  5. Giants just took the lead with 1 minute to go...
  6. I feel like I've heard this story before.
  7. Well, we spent most of camp rotating QBs for the QB competition. Sure would have been nice to have used some of those practice snaps to get the QB and Center comfortable with each other ...
  8. Lions are going to win more games this year than last. Underated OL, good RB.
  9. Officially saying 7-10. I hope I'm wrong and we're 10-7. If Brady is distracted or the Bucs OL is worse than we expect, I could see 8-9, and I also think in that scenario the NFCS winner will have a sub .500 record.
  10. Season long rankings tend to support your supposition. Since I had the numbers handy: Jets (27th), Hou (32nd), Miami (30th), Falcons (31st), Giants (24th) , Bucs (26th)
  11. "can run and stop the run" - Of the 14 playoff teams from 2021, only 3 (SF, TEN and PHI) were top 10 in both rushing and rushing defense. Of the 14 playoff teams from 2021, only PIT was bottom 10 in both rushing offense and rushing defense. 6 playoff teams were top 10 in rushing offense (TEN, PHI, SF, plus NEP, BUF, DAL) 6 playoff teams were top 10 in rushing defense (TEN, PHI, SF, plus CIN, TB, LAR) 5 playoffs teams were bottom 10 in rushing offense (CIN, LV, PIT, TB, LAR) Only 2 playoff teams were bottom 10 in rushing defense (NEP, PIT). KC just missed the cut at 21st. The two Super Bowl teams were 23rd and 25th in rushing offense, but both were top 10 in rushing defense. This analysis seems to support the idea that rushing defense is more important than rushing offense, especially if you have an elite QB. But you better do one or the other well. You can make the playoffs without being able to stop the run, or run the ball (PIT) but it's unlikely (1 out of 14).
  12. No issue with this except I have a hard time believing the Raiders miss the playoffs. Brutal division, but they have a solid team.
  13. I can't remember which year it was, but we had a rain game against Jacksonville one year that just epic.
  14. Bills are currently around +600 Packers are about +1200 Carolina (in case you were wondering) is about +11000
  15. At 9, you just miss the playoffs and get a mid-round draft. Worst case scenario. Franchise purgatory.
  16. Are the TNF games going to be on both NFLN and Amazon or is it Amazon exclusive this year? Will the TNF games be on NFL+? I'm so confused.
  17. Rams were ranked 25th and the Bengals ranked 23rd in rushing yards last year. KC was ranked 16th.
  18. I'm hoping Baker proves we do. Either that or he needs to be the Alex Smith to our eventual Pat Mahomes.
  19. Is that Buffalo does? Is that what KC does? Is that what LAR does? I don't think so. I'm just worried Rhule is still in the Foxball mindset. I'd really love to see or hear something from him that makes me think otherwise.
