Pretty clear that PJ is Rhule's guy. Neither of them are good enough to be the backup but this team had a lot of holes to fill and you can't address them all at once. Backup QB is pretty far down the priority list.

The crazy thing to me is that Rhule's one NFL stop was as an Oline coach. You'd think he'd know how important it is for these guys to gel.

It was the Clemson game that really sold me on Fields. He took a big shot, and wasn't 100% after it. But despite that, he gutted out the game and got his team the W. That night, I said the kid was going to be a good one.

There's this great site called Ourlads.com that will let you look at every team's depth chart. You might want to spend some time there before you make claims like this.

If this is a big deal to Rhule, it's another point that puts him in the 'run da ball and play good defense' mindset of coaching.
