  1. We need that Fitterer laser eyes gif from the draft.
  2. Not to be a downer, but what this tells me is that Horn is done for the year with his foot injury. Heal up. We'll see you in 2022.
  3. At the same time, teams have set up their offensive personnel on the same speed versus power spectrum. A team might want to attack us with power running, but if they're more of a fast, athletic line, is won't be easy to switch to power running in a week. In any game, you think in terms of the meta. In essence, a "meta" in gaming terminology is a generally agreed upon strategy by the community. Said strategy is considered to be the most optimal way to win/ has the best performance at a specific task. Some people have defined meta as an acronym meaning “most effective tactics available”. You build your team based upon the countering the meta. If the meta is speed, you build your defense for speed and hope you can hold your own when you face that off-meta team that uses power.
  4. I like the way the Chargers alternate Eckler and Roundtree. Brady could learn something from that.
  5. Crosby is a case of a guy going to the right team. The guy has issues but Waller helped him. Crosby's play had skyrocketed after that.
  6. Apparently the starting safety next to Chinn. UDFA with the Giants in 18. On and off the Giants practice squad then on and off our practice squad last year. But he went to Temple.
  7. Player Defensive Snaps Special Teams Snaps Jeremy Chinn 61 (100%) 7 (24%) Brian Burns 59 (97%) 8 (28%) Donte Jackson 59 (97%) 7 (24%) Shaq Thompson 57 (93%) 1 (3%) A.J. Bouye 49 (80%) Sean Chandler 48 (79%) 20 (69%) Haason Reddick 47 (77%) 1 (3%) Derrick Brown 45 (74%) 7 (24%) DaQuan Jones 43 (70%) 7 (24%) Morgan Fox 41 (67%) 7 (24%) Jermaine Carter 40 (66%) 10 (34%) Sam Franklin 27 (44%) 12 (41%) Rashaan Melvin 21 (34%) 6 (21%) CJ Henderson 18 (30%) 1 (3%) Bravvion Roy 14 (23%) Marquis Haynes 11 (18%) 1 (3%) Keith Taylor 10 (16%) 16 (55%) Daviyon Nixon 8 (13%) Frankie Luvu 6 (10%) 21 (72%) Darryl Johnson 5 (8%) 9 (31%) Julian Stanford 2 (3%) 21 (72%)
  8. They did for a time, but then they recovered and went TD, FG, TD without CMC.
  9. "Texans have showed a tendency to play cover 1 out of base personnel on 1st + 10 and Panthers attacked that tendency with crossers off play action and play action boot: Erickson 25 yards, Marshall 23 yards" Imagine attacking the defenses tendencies. I'm not sure our previous coaching staff ever did that. ( it seems like Dallas also plays a high percentage of Cover 1 or at least they did against Philly.)
  10. Dallas' CB Diggs is playing really well. Sam's gonna have to account for him.
  11. I know it sounds crazy, but Horn let us do things in defense we couldn't do last year. Maybe CJ Henderson lets us do those same things, maybe. That remains to be seen. If he can't, we might have to revert to the zone heavy scheme that we struggled with last year. As for CMC, look at last week. Once they got over the gut punch of CMC going out, Carolina's offense went 76, 60, 75 yards for TD, FG, TD. Darnold took over in way TB never did last year. We're going to miss them both no doubt. They are both awesome players, but we've largely ridden our defense to 3-0 and I think the JC's impact could be larger depending on what Henderson does.
  12. Reminder: These were all after the CMC injury. Excellent production even with our best player out.
  13. We live in the deep south. Snowstorms are quite menacing.
  14. There aren't a whole lot of those on the schedule this year.
  15. Year 1 of the Fitterer/Rhule regime. Some have questioned if everyone was on board with the rebuild in the Hurney/Rhule regime.
  16. Joe Brady probably already has a real estate agent looking at houses in Chicago.
  17. No 2nd round pick. Now no 3rd round pick. How, exactly, are we fixing the OL next offseason?
  18. According to NextGen stats, Bridgewater is ahead of Darnold on both CAY (completed air yards) and IAY (intended air yards). They are essentially tied in AGG (aggressiveness). AGG is shown as a % of attempts into tight windows over all passing attempts.
