I'd have to see or hear something (that neither Fitt or Rhule is ever likely to say) to accept that. Rookie GM overpaying on one of his first trades is at least plausible to me.

Split with NO and Atlanta. I can't see us winning either game with Tampa. We seem to have the Cardinals number. We should beat the Seahawks, Lions. I can't see us beating the 49ers, Rams, Bengals, Broncos, or Ravens. Browns, Giants, Steelers are all toss-ups for me. So between 8-9 and 5-12.

Updated mine too. I always loved watching Sam play, and I'm so happy for him and his family that he finally got into the Hall of Fame.

We might want to try it. Wave PJ, sign him to the practice squad so we don't have to burn a spot to keep Sam on the final 53. IR Sam after the final 53 and then promote PJ.

Gantt is essentially the mouthpiece of the team. TMC isn't get cut or traded.

Jenkins was the guy the Bears took when we traded down with them in 2021 draft.

The data say 75 rushing attempts, 104 pass attempts. 11 of the 75 rushing attempts were by QBs. I only recall the one zone read Darnold did to score the TD so assuming we didn't have any other called QB runs, the other 10 QB rush attempts were likely pass play calls.

I'm not going to draw any conclusions from the preseason, but if Fields develops into a legit franchise QB, Horn better be a perennial all-pro, or we are going to have serious regrets.

Someone in another thread mentioned the rain delay might have played a role. He warmed up, cooled down, and had to warm up again.

They really do. My daughter has epilepsy and we had to leave a preseason game last year in the second quarter because they were affecting her. At a minimum, they need to add an epilepsy warning to the ticket buying process.

It's a history, but it's not good (at least from a Panthers perspective). We better not get fleeced by them again.

I'm not sure that Buffalo is the best team to get a gauge for that. They don't have a strong running game outside of their QB who won't be playing.

I hope he's lying as well. Balance between run and pass is always key. Rhule talks so much about a "run the ball, play good defense" type of philosophy that I fear he's not lying.

I used the think the Broncos helmets had a label on the inside of them that read, "Insert running back, get 1,000 yards".

A little early for the classic "players-only" meeting, isn't it? Shouldn't they wait until we are like 3-6 to have one of those.
