    I've mention this before, but what I'd love to see is Tepper brings Kevin Colbert as a consultant and lets Kevin set up the GM/Coach/front office structure.

    I agree with you on Fitt. But I have no issue letting both go. Adam Peters was smart to withdraw from consideration. If we let go of Fitt and Rhule this season, we should talk to him again. If we offer a true GM role, he might be more interested.

    I'm not sure why I bother with these mailbags any more. Darin Gantt could audition for the Spin Doctors and get accepted immediately.

    If not for Tepper, the trade may not have happened until even later. I think it was RapSheet that reported right after the trade that Tepper gave the team (I'm assuming Rhule/Fitt) a July 4th deadline to either get it done or come up with a different plan at QB. The trade was agreed to on July 5th.

    If Moore can make a functional offense with Cooper Rush or Will Grier, one decent receiver (Lamb) and the ghost of Zeke Elliot, then I'd be very interested in him. I just have my doubts he will.

    It's possible, but I was a big believer in Hackett. I wanted him if we got rid of Rhule, so I'm more than willing to give him more time so I can feel better about my evaluation of him.

    Hackett flubbed up the end game for sure, but I mostly chalk that up to a learning experience for a rookie HC. I just like that he took responsibility for his teams failures. I can't remember ever hearing our coach do that.

    I said this in another thread but I want to grab someone from the Shanahan / McVay tree. Look at what Mike McDaniel (who I had never heard of before he got hired in Miami) did, or even what Keven O'Connell did with Minnesota.
