  1. I'm exciting for dalton. The offense will look competent. Even in the Seattle game last year the playcalling was bad, he just improvised threw it. We will see what happens with better playcalling, o line, and receivers this time around.
  2. I think you gotta take a qb, but it doesn't have to be first round. Far as guys already in the league. My top choice would be hendon Hooker. Then, Sam Howell or Joe milton.
  3. Isn't kyler also a really good baseball player too? The dude is a certified elite athlete who didn't have to play football if didn't want too.
  4. I mean he got sacked a lot in college too and a lot them were his fault. Seems like it was already set in motion thats where he was heading.
  5. For all we know okay play is all we need just to look competent. Nobody is expecting dalton to play like a pro bowler. Hell..Nobody is even expecting playoffs. Losing needs to be in context...we can go out and move the ball, score points and still lose.... it looks significantly different. We actually get productuon out of our offensive players. BRYCE WASNT EVEN GIVING US THAT. That's how bad it was. We are already idiots for being in this situation but fielding a offense that looks decent is still an improvement even if small. It's not about wins and losses as that wasn't even a high expectation to begin with but having offense THAT bad over the last couple games is just inexcusable with the pieces we have. If you still aren't grasping that yet I dont know what to tell you.
  6. I gotta admit. This whole season so far has been way more of a hot topic than I thought it was gonna be. This team sucks and is still in the news more than anybody else. Far as the trade, I'm going to agree. I think right now is the most you probably get for him....lets say dalton comes out and lights it up and even just completely rejuvenates the team. It will just confirm more that Bryce has been the problem and lower his value. Just a hypothetical but it might be smart to jump a trade now.
  7. He could have did that last year when he came back against a winless vikings team. Nothing changed. Lol
  8. Overall, he is pretty much done here unless Dalton gets hurt for some reason and can't play. IF we elevate Plummer or bring in a new QB then that's pretty much out the window too. Also, judging off how his camp has reacted I wouldnt be surprised if he is traded before the deadline. This is the first time the kid has ever been demoted in his football career. Expect an extreme measure response to that at some point.
  9. Lol...that will probably be on another team.
  10. And his family will make sure he doesn't come here. Next
  11. He's had everything handed to him his whole football career. This isn't surprising. Now he will have to work his way back up. Prove you are better than the guy next to you on the field. Can't talk your way into a starting spot anymore. No more hand outs.
  12. Far as bryce goes from here, He has lost the pedestal that has come with being the number 1 pick franchise savior. Once you get benched you have to earn it back which puts him on a even playing field as everybody else even somebody like plummer. Nothing else will be given to him going forward in his career. This will be something he has never had to deal with. It's up to him if can work his way back. Will he in my opinion? Based off what we have seen and how he is built mentally....No.
  13. Well that's true. Canales should be able to pick the guy that fits his system the best. And it's good chance that guy won't be a undersized anomaly.
  14. We picked first. We had our choice of anybody including stroud which is all that matters. We screwed up the most.
  15. He was never the right Qb for XL. Down the field big play wide receiver who wins contested catches. Great skillset for the NFL but not for a qb with limitations.
  16. I said this a couple times in camp. He could be the greatest flag football QB ever if there was a league for that.
  17. Agreed. We are only 2 games in and the frustration is clearly visible. To send the message this is how things are gonna be the for the next months 4 months is just not gonna fly.
  18. I think everybody knows dalton isn't the answer. This isn't about winning right now/competing for a championship. This is about putting a serviceable qb on the field that helps give you a functional offense for the time being. Bryce isnt doing that, he isnt doing much of anything at all. He had 84 yds passing today. The top receiver had 23 yds. They are barely even involved in the game, this is unacceptable for 15 more games. If you think a change can fix that you gotta do it. It's easy to sit at home as a fan say this is okay because it's benefits in the end, but that just isn't how it works for everybody involved. You saw today players are starting to show frustration in the open and we are only 2 games in. I don't know how else to explain it to you unless you just continue to look at this only from a fan perspective.
  19. We have no idea who the correct qb will be come next draft. It's dumb to even think about 2 weeks in.
  20. I love watching stroud and at the same time it cuts deep everytime I see him do something amazing.
