  1. You dont have any idea the anger i would exhibit if this team took mac jones in the top 10 After just trading for darnold. You just dont.
  2. Hell no to Farley....for all we know the guy may have a couple years in him till his body completely breaks down. Darrisaw will gone by the time we pick there will be like 3 teams in front of us who need O line help. Its to risky. 12 is the farthest i would go.
  3. 3 receivers on the field with the last name Moore.
  4. My bad, i was talking about the falcons at 4.
  5. My bad, that was an error i meant the falcons at 4 smh
  6. So you think they are pretty much going Qb at 3 and not Pitts?
  7. I see your comprehension skills are not up to par, so this will be my last response to you because you still aint getting it. First off, if you dont have a stud LT than that should always be at the top of your priority list BUT (stay with me here) that is not relative to the current situation we are discussing right now when it comes to the draft which is you NEVER reach for a need based on where you are picking. Brown is a DT so those guys never have insane sack numbers to begin with but based off his college play and his upside he was projected to be a Top 5 talent in the draft. You say you were against picking him over a stud LT but if that was the case AT THAT TIME then Beckton or Wilfs would have projected as top 5 Talent worthy and the panthers would have been justified in picking them at that spot. YOU had them as studs but nobody else saw enough to warrant that they should have went in the top 10 which would have be considered at reach at that time and course they played well so a redraft could say otherwise. For example, i PERSONALLY think OT Teven Jenkins out this draft is gonna be a stud but based off projecting and rankings he wont be picked in top 10 so i shouldnt expect the panthers to select him at 8 unless they trade down. Do you understand what im saying? Do you get it now? If they had of traded out down to the range where those guys were picked it would have been more justified and of course AFTER based off how they played it would have been a great moves as you feel a need and probably walk away with more picks but that didnt happen and we dont even know if they had worthy trade partners so its wishful thinking. You just said BASED OFF how they performed you were right, Wilfs and becton looking like great picks NOW after there rookies years to warrant being drafted in the top 10 but the point you have to understand is that based off where the panthers were picking in overall analysis of prospects in the PRE DRAFT process was that it would have been to high for those guys and you dont EVER reach for a need. THats why your question is not relative to the specific discussion because we cant hop in a time machine and see how the guys will do after they are drafted, we have to go off projections and rankings when it comes to the draft right now.
  8. Again....You are BASING this off the results of their rookies seasons, we are in the pre draft process and going off projections where Brown was consider an overrall better player at the time. Taking Becton or Wilfs at the time would have been considered a reach at that time just like taking Horn at 8 would be considered by some people as a reach for us. Thats the point. Nobody was suggesting the panthers should draft Beckton or Wilfs at 6. Lastly, how the hell is Brown not pass rushing DT? He had times where he dominated the guy in front of him and created pressures. The sack number doesnt tell the whole story as he showed the same force he did in college and he is gonna continue to get better. By you saying that that just says you really werent watching like that.
  9. Brown was overall better prospect at the time then those 2 from the start....he was consider a top 5 pick. Beckton shot up draft boards in the pre draft process and Wirfs was projected as good RT. And you are basing this off the results of those guys rookie seasons in which they all actually performed well. Its not the same situations because is Slater has always been projected better than Horn. Horn would kind of be a reach for the panthers based off value.
  10. Draft rumors saying panthers might trade down even if Sewell is available because they like other OTs. If a team like the chargers is willing to offer a load of picks to get him what do you do? Horn and Darrisaw could still be available at that 13th pick.
  11. If no sewell, chase, or pitts then trade back. Starting to warm up to this a lot more. I like slater but i would value acquiring more picks in the 2nd 3rd round then settling at 8. I like the talent that will be available there.
  12. Yes they had 2 elite LTs. Ronnie Stanley is coming back from injury this year and Brown only wanted to play LT.
  13. Move Moton to left tackle and draft a guy early to play right. Moton has way more potential to succeed there over anybody we could draft outside the top 2 guys.
  14. A redskins fan suggested their 19th pick, 2022 first, 2021 second rounder and a day 3 pick. Not a bad deal to consider.
  15. You could be right, im just speaking in terms of the draft. Nobody is taking newsome and stokes that early
  16. One thing is certain, its Surtain/Horn and then there is a gap between them and the CBs available in the later rounds. Plus, Jackson and AJ are our clear top guys right now. Jackson has a nagging foot injury that can hit any time and AJ wont even be available the first couple games. We are thin after that. Im just glad they are prioritizing CB over WR.
  17. I have warmed up to trading down, i have been doing a bunch mock drafts and the most fun i have had is drafting around 2,3,4. Its gonna be a lot of talent to choose from and guys that can play right away. As long as they take a LT somewhere in the 2nd im good with it. My best scenario is hoping Sewell drops to us though.
  18. I think it does, and even so he can start out on the right side and then move to left eventually. He had no problems playing either one...outside of Sewell all these guys have same flaws in their profiles for playing left, they just need refinement. Also, i dont see it out the realm for them to flirt with moving Moton to the left side. He wants to be paid like a left tackle might as well move him over there. I think he will do fine.
  19. If we trade back Teven Jenkins is my top choice, i would take him even over Darrissaw and Tucker. Dude is a mauler and can play either tackle spots i think his upside is on Sewells level. Trading back and taking jenkins i would have no problem with.
