Man Gtfoh...it was his very first NFL game of his career. It doesn't matter what string it was against. He proved he belonged out there, which a lot of his critics wouldn't even give him that so far. And Cleveland didn't play their starters on offense with him at all... so it evens out. He went out there and performed with the same guys he has had to practice with up till now...camp bodies.

If he had of played like crap last night he would be getting killed on social media right now.

That is the main reason why there isn't a young vet here. And people are really complaining that Dalton isnt good enough but at the same time they don't want anybody younger with potential that could possibly challenge Bryce and his confidence. This is the wack job thinking that goes on.

Its personal hate. A player can look generational but still somehow suck in the eyes of someone who has personal dislike of them that might not even have anything to do with football. Thats the big problem with discusing sports today.

To piggyback on what lightsout said, im one of those folks thats 35+ and just dont frequent message boards like I use too. I will say my activity will pick up once the season or the real games start and I imagine that will be the same for a lot of people. Ultimately, the panthers have to show they have really turned a corner to get the excitement back. Not much else to it, I get tired of seeing videos and articles with the header "The league isn't ready for what the panthers are about to do!" It gets tired seeing that and then nothing actually changes. I will wait and see for my own eyes.
