Finishing 4 games over .500 and a 10th seed same as last year is not a success. Baby steps do the hornets no good because everybody around you is RAPIDLY improving (Cleveland, bulls). Its gets you nowhere and is a losers mentality.

Agree for the most part. Hornets did not play any of their rookies for experience this year just to finish as a 10th seed and get beat by 30 points in a play in game. All this just to finish 4 games over .500. What is the real gain? THERE IS NONE.

Every mock draft i do i trade back. When i stay and take someone at 6 it just doesnt feel like a win and there is no one at Qb available. Not picking again till the 4th is gonna suck.

You only trade back if someone is willing to give up 2nd and 3rd rounders which may not happen this draft. Sucks.

I have been doing a lot of mock drafts lately and in most of them i have took a QB at some point. Yesterday i did one where we did not take a QB and it just didn't feel right even tho it was a good draft. I just think we either take a QB or trade down regardless because it wont because it will be tough having no picks until day 3.

So you put Pickett behind a good O line with cmc, dj moore, robbie as weapons and you already convinced he wont be successful with panthers??

Yall talk about taking a QB next year like its automatic given. This roster is not bad enough to be in position for that. Hell, we won 5 games with darnold and still ended up picking 6. Undoubtedly you are looking at trading a multiple picks to move up for a QB just like we were about to do for watson. The difference is you will be trading picks for a unknown. And Good luck trying to secretly sell this strategy to guys on the roster.

It makes sense, trade back also still opens up the possibility to get a LT later. I really want to have some day 2 picks in this draft. Im pretty sure they see that as a priority as well.

I could see us not trading back as well. Anything outside of a QB or LT is gonna be depth on this team. That's the honest truth, crazy as it sounds we don't have a lot of holes like that. Atleast not this year.
