Brady was a game manager for the 1st 2 superbowls the pats won .. and it took Brady having that Wes Welker, Randy Moss all time season to prove differently.. Hw had to go to another team and win to prove differently.. He showed that he could be a carrier of a team and not just a passenger… That’s the point we are giving guys these titles before they proved it… Brady had to prove Purdy, Tua, and Dak should have to as well.. And your they have better stats thing is funny and a nerd way to debate without using context… None of these guys with better stats were asked to carry a team every year.. None were asked to be the QB, FB, Short yardage RB, and running game coordinator.. None of your better stat guys are asked to cover up for our BAD Oline choices and our bad moves in FA and draft when it came to WR.. None of them are asked to please Cam make a play so we actually have a functioning offense.. Please Cam be our offense while we spend most our resources on defense… When those guys can be that then let me know..

Sorry I’m not a part of that fanbase.. Brian Burns is a 25 year old Pass rusher who has already achieved double digit sacks consistently… That’s not a common thing in this league and when you have that it is a good thing.. There is a reason ppl were offering 1st round picks for what he is now… And positional value must be a part of intelligent football decisions.. A TE isn’t as important as pass rush.. Atlanta is a consistent Pass rusher away from being a very strong defense why would we help them. Taking a less valued part that they can’t figure out how to use??

Omg that sounds dumb.. Give them a young legit pass rusher for an already improved defense we have to face twice a year for a TE?? Did you actually put thought in that??

I still think this class is deeper in mid and later round talent as well.. I haven’t even named players like Polk, Vincent, Jerry Rice and Muhsin sons ..

Last year was the year to get a TE I agree but their are some intriguing kids in this class in mid rounds..

It was a okay class but this one is deeper and better.. Addison is the only person that would be rated with the top 5 this year.. JSN would fall to late 1st in this Class and Williams is a 2nd round pick if he came out this year.. This class is clearly better and deeper..

He’s not seen right now as a wr 1 type player..

He most certainly could fall to the 2nd this draft is very deep at WR and he might not be in the top 8 of Wr in this draft..

This draft is deep enough that one of the top 8 could fall to the 2nd round.. Which would be great for us.. But being so deep some solid options should be there for us..

Speed and route running should be a premium.. Egbuka and Worthy are solid options..

This WR draft class is really good and deeper then last year class.. This draft could go 20 deep in prospects that could contribute to a team day 1.. We could realistically get a starter at WR into the 4th round .. My top of the 2nd round best option (again jmo) are Worthy (Texas) Mitchell ( Texas) Egbuka (OState) (my 1st choice as well) .. Reality is the WR room no matter who is coach is a complete overhaul.. I can only see keeping Theilen, Mingo, and maybe Ismael .. Everybody else can go.. I see us trying to atleast add 3 players thru FA and draft in that room maybe 4..

See this is the nerd way out of this and not what the actual point is.. Also the stats conversation should be way more objective if that’s all you’re going to go by..

I agree with this and think this is what Cam was trying to say.. Game Manager is great in his system and great in a good situation.. Game Changer is a player you can drop on any system on any team and he elevate what is around him..

Another point.. Could Purdy be as successful in a Shula, Brady, or Reich offense??

Kirk Cousin has been doing it for Years making more money then a lot of “game changer” and not giving a f about it..

That’s Cams point imo.. It not a bad thing making the right play at the right time more times then not and being reliable more often then not.. But reality is Purdy, Dak nor Tua is asked to carry a offense and elevate the talent around them as much as Mahomes , Jackson and Rodger’s is..

If he was on a different team does he change the game is the question then??

Plain and simple.. If Purdy, Dak, or Tua are with the Panthers are we competing for a playoff right now?? Now If We had Mahomes, Allen, Jackson or Rodger’s are we competing for a division title?? And that was Cam’s point..
