Well, anyone who has taken a photo of a fish and hold it away from their body closer to the camera, that fish can look much larger than it is.

What are you trying to say?  That Cam isn't significantly larger than Bryce?  This picture reflects reality not a magic angle.

    elaborate please

Start with an indoor digital antenna, something like this will work: https://a.co/d/04v9wF4l

HD Homerun comes in three flavors that range from $100 to $200, personally I have the $200 model which is 4 tuners @ 4k capability.  So I can watch/record up to four channels at once: https://a.co/d/01zajHYa

Last is Plex which is capable of discovering the HD Homerun on your network and utilizing the tuners.  You can run the server side on just about anything, PC and Raspberry Pi are common.  Personally I run it as a docker image on a Synology disk station.  There are companion apps for every mobile device, smart tvs, firesticks etc.  It works on everything.  : https://www.plex.tv/

The whole setup is quite easy, an average person could definitely meander their way through it with a few google searches.  A capable technical person would have it setup in under a hour.  With the four tuner HD Homerun and the antenna I linked you'd have less than $250 invested in a permanent solution for over the air broadcasts.  Perhaps a bit more if you need to buy a device to host Plex, in which case I'd recommend a Raspberry Pi.

In Bryce's defense there were a few TDs that were drops, and a few where the team could've put him into position to score a TD but ran out the clock instead.

but yeah, he could've done more for sure.

He had more dropped interceptions than dropped touchdowns.  But in reality those happen to every QB so it's not a very relative defense or indictment.

i will never forget his multiple end of game drives where the panthers were down like 14 points or so and there was just NO urgency at all. like he either didn't care, or didn't understand the situation, or was happy to just keep checking it down and walking back to the line. unreal.

Or the double tomahawk first down squat down 21.

I think you've taken my comment out of context as well. I never implied that his father being a psychologist would make him a better leader or make him a psychologist. If your dad is a lawyer, you're more likely to be exposed to law. If your dad is a doctor you're more likely to be exposed to medicine that's all.

My question is, why did you take my comment that way?

Your exact words were "Bryce's dad is a psychologist, I think they would know and understand how to manage personalities and know when and what to say when the time is right."

I mean your directly saying that you think his Dad and by extension Bryce should know how to manage personalities in the context of a thread questioning his leadership.

We'll just have to agree to disagree.  If his Dad's profession and whatever influence it's had on Bryce has brought us to the point that we're debating the veracity Clowney's remarks then clearly there's a bridge to be built.

Having a loud voice doesn't always mean you're a good leader. Everyone has different personalities. Class clowns are loud and obnoxious, that doesn't mean they were the brightest or greatest. Bryce's dad is a psychologist, I think they would know and understand how to manage personalities and know when and what to say when the time is right.

What does Bryce's dad being a psychologist have to do with anything?  Does phycologist proximity make everyone within the aura also qualified to be a phycologist?  Could you just visit a phycologist and become one or does he need to be your Dad?  Are all phycologist equal?  Do any have their own baggage or bias or all they all just perfectly balanced human opinions because they have an education?

Also I'm fairly confident, that "Because my Dad said so" doesn't garner much respect in the huddle.

Beyond that, I think you're reading Clowney's response wrong anyway.  I think he's saying in the kindest way possible that BY9 hasn't taken command of the team.

  7. This was a complete poo show, which is just my opinion of course.  However, this opinion will become fact in a few months and the kool aid drinkers will act like blind squirrels find acorns.  We did nothing to help ourselves in the draft.

A first round WR with FOUR dud years in college.  Yeah he’ll be a difference maker against pros with BY at QB.  Dude has heavy feet out the gate which isn’t what we need.

An injured RB that will take three years to hold Chubba’s jock.

Sanders might be the best pick of our draft.  But only because we’re awful at the position and BY should be a TE friendly QB.  Too bad he can’t catch and block because we need both.

Anything good after that would be a happy accident.  The Panthers drafted with the same mentality they’ve had for years.  Buy cheap and hope for value.  It stinks of someone who treats a football team like the stock market, trying to outsmart the next guy and make an easy profit.

The only real fix here is coaching up players with extraordinary physical attributes, that’s the NFL.  Instead we try to draft “impact” players with marginal and even questionable physical attributes in the name of value.  My only real hope this season is that we could find a rudder on the coaching side and establish some consistency somewhere in the org.  This reeks of a David Tepper influenced draft though.

Take a receipt, I’ll be here to happily take my medicine should our merry band of clowns accidentally got something right.

  8. I didn’t like this draft at all.

XL, our first pick had one good season out of five and doesn’t have burst off the line.  I wanted Ladd here because I think he’d have been a much better pairing for BY9s weak arm.  We need to be an excellent west coast style offense if Bryce is gonna shine.  A burner that takes 3 steps to get moving and doesn’t separate at the line is a bad choice IMO.

I don’t even want to talk about drafting a RB after having Foreman make us feel better about trading CMC only to send him packing and give Sanders top FA money last year to fall on his face.  We always try to get cute and find value.  The fact that we were the first team to take a RB (one recovering from a serious injury no less) tells you we didn’t get the memo 31 other teams got.  RB has a huge role in protection responsibility, it’s a huge reason some great backs are situational…they suck in protection.  A rookie RB helping protect BY doesn’t warm my heart.  We should have taken the top C on the board here IMO.

LB and yet another project TE that’ll probably just frustrate us all for how long he hangs around seemingly doing nothing.  Then a bunch of dice rolls that aren’t changing any fortune unless it’s a complete accident.

TLDR This whole draft looks like JAGs to me at best.  I don’t like the XL or JB picks at all.  Always happy to be wrong when I have a negative take.

Blown away by the 49ers knowing their WRs & watching again as the Panthers show they have no clue on how to pick WRs.

Marshall, Mingo & Legette... tired of this nonsense. None of them pair well with Young's game style. Clearly Fitterer rubbed off on Morgan. You don't trade up for these WRs. You trade down to gain draft capital & take these projects if they are still there. Hope I'm wrong like I hoped with Marshall & Mingo.

Completely agree, I hate the pick.  Bryce’s 10 yard bombs don’t pair well.  Leggette had one good season and four others where no one knew who he was.  We desperately need safety blankets for BY9 and I think Ladd would have been a better fit for that reason.
