The best description I’ve seen anywhere was from another poster. It goes like this…. At a very possible 0-17 and even more possible league worst record, we will literally pick AFTER the Super Bowl champs next year. The potential comedy of the leagues first 0-17 team picking after the champs is unparalleled.

There were some good things today, which is better than no good things. The first TD drive was gutsy. The crowd was hostile, Detroit D was jacked. They wanted to put us away right there. Sanders really fugged the team over. We had a chance to stay in the game when it mattered and his poo ass coughs up another costly fumble. This really hurt the team. Not much else to speak of until garbage yards. At least he made some throws once the pressure was off. It wasn’t a good performance overall but it was his best so far. Let’s just keep hoping for growth because we have nothing else to hope for tbh.

Down 18 and still haven’t attempted a pass beyond 20 yards. Not even attempted down 18. Let that wash over you.

Come on ref, give us a break. Can we not hold just a lil bit? Look at the score!

LOL Fox breaks out MJ Thriller to commercial break. This is not a thriller.

He should have earned it this year, like everyone else who has to fight their ass off to make it in the league. He was handed the keys by default. We’ll never know how sitting for a year might have changed things.

His stock is going down every game.

LMAO

That’s about as dark as that picture can be painted. Well done, take your pie.

Jeez dude I was agreeing with you, take some meds.

Foster was dynamic. That acrobatic pylon score in the Super Bowl is an iconic image.

That’s the dude that complained about boos last week. JFC

Gutsy drive right there. That is progress. Let’s do it again.

I appreciate the thoughtful response but the crux of this post was whether or not we had a tell. Sure, Bryce has only taken 27 snaps from center for “reasons”. That’s not the issue I’m asking to analyze. The issue is, of those 27 snaps we’ve ran the ball 26 times. We are telling the defense that if we snap from center we’re running the ball. We either need to mix a respectable number of passes from under center snaps or just abandon it completely. I’ll chart tomorrow as well and see if anything changes.

Lost me with the 100-0 run.

So our receivers will take a day off from being garbage like they did for Dalton? ROFL Biggest surprise tomorrow, our defense continues to play solid and keeps us in the game. Despite being big dogs again we keep it close before a late turnover provides a comfortable margin. Wait is this is a surprise, did I do the thing right?

Yeah no doubt Bryce and shotgun go together like peas and carrots. I just don't think we can stay on the 26/30 pace running the ball. That is ungodly predictable.

Nico Collins - 2021 446 yards, 1 TD, best game 69 yards / 2022 481 yards, 2 TD, best game 82 yards Shouldn't our stud franchise savior be able to launch Jeudy the way Stroud has launched Nico?

Do the Panthers have a shotgun problem and by extension a tell? Through four games we've run 227 of 257 from the gun. 26 of the 30 plays we've ran from under center were rush attempts. That's right we've only passed from under center four times, Bryce only once. Below is the chart of plays ran from under center. We are broadcasting to the defense that if we line up under center we are running the ball. Atlanta 68 of 70 plays from Shotgun 3Q 9:34-M.Sanders for 9 yards 3Q 4:52-C.Hubbard for 21 yards New Orleans 45 of 52 plays from Shotgun 1Q 11:52-M.Sanders for 13 yards 1Q 10:36-M.Sanders for 1 yard 2Q 9:17-M.Sanders for -4 yards 2Q 6:18-B.Young 15 yard completion 2Q 5:02-M.Sanders for 6 yards 4Q 12:08-M.Sanders for 4 yards 4Q 11:26-M.Sanders for 5 yards Seattle 62 of 72 plays from Shotgun 1Q 13:25-M.Sanders for 4 yards 1Q 10:21-M.Sanders for no gain 1Q 9:25-Dalton sacked for -11 yards 1Q 2:49-M.Sanders for no gain 2Q 12:07-M.Sanders for 1 yard 2Q 11:31-M.Sanders for 3 yards 2Q 8:34-Dalton incomplete 3Q 14:54-M.Sanders for 1 yard 3Q 14:13-Dalton incomplete 3Q 9:03-M.Sanders for 1 yard Minnesota 52 of 63 plays from Shotgun 1Q 7:02-C.Hubbard for 7 yards 1Q 6:26-M.Sanders for 1 yard 1Q 5:14-C.Hubbard for 6 yards 1Q 3:48-A.Thielen rush for 6 yards 1Q 3:03-C.Hubbard for 5 yards 2Q 8:17-M.Sanders for 3 yards 3Q 15:00-M.Sanders for 1 yard 3Q 3:58-C.Hubbard for -1 yard 4Q 10:19-M.Sanders for 2 yards

Frank Wrong- “explosive plays will come but…..”
Newtcase replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
If bad things haven’t already been happening I shudder to think of what he considers bad. -
I think the biggest issue is field vision. It's limiting the throws he attempts and making the protection look worse than it should. This is 2nd down play in our last drive vs. the Vikings and what I see. Take a look and judge for yourself.
-
I was addressing the part of your comment where you stated that the highlights you had watched had great protection. It was phrased as though Stroud owes his success to good line play. The point of the clips I shared was to show that Stroud is helping himself when the protection isn't there.
-
Well here are a few plays from his last QB school. If you still think this is great protection instead of great quarterbacking then lets discuss further. CJ's protection is breaking down often, the kid just makes the right play very often. I mean these plays are just sick and there are plenty of them. https://youtu.be/1Pghr8IRMc4?si=9oRUFoTJ78lfol73&t=391 https://youtu.be/1Pghr8IRMc4?si=PLAC4xnHZTji9nyN&t=963
