  4. Digital communications, classrooms, sales presentations will become even more of "a thing" going forward. Of course that is when you get an issue. Should be a ton of things change as far as travel to certain areas also and be prepared for airports to be even more of a hassle
  5. Do you see everything through political lenses? Any original thoughts, beyond politics?
  6. which is our favorite Mecklenburg County wet market to visit? since that is what we were speaking about. So far, this thread is about sharing info, with few ax grinders, this is your joint, help keep it in order
  7. Been going on for awhile. Remember Hong Kong Flu, Asian Flu, etc. Prevention better than a cure, for sure
  8. world death rate 3.8% US death rate 1.8% As of this morning Very fluid 69 deaths so far, most from Washington state
  9. were the 10 positive? or waiting on tests?
  10. appreciate you sharing
  11. CDC website popped up. You guys get it?
  12. I would say for the next month, all cell data service should be totally unlimited with no upcharges. Saw a note about one company in FL doing it, with kids out of school, it would be best if all carriers pitched in until April 15 or so Maybe they have already and I just don't know
  13. Twitter feeds are not always a good barometer
  14. Looks like this one is now headed to the cesspool
  15. Here's your guy, haha https://www.the-sun.com/news/539494/coronavirus-kentucky-patient-self-isolate-armed-guard/

  17. 5800+ cases, but only 11 deaths. Death rate less than 1/3 of S Korea who is being praised But that is today, could change a lot.
  18. It's in this thread a dozen times. Yes, a great website US a bit less than 1.8 as far as death rate. About half currently of what was being talked about. Could go way up, but also could come way down. Key is good practices and protecting the groups we know already, are going to be vulnerable. Love to know what Germany is doing, they are doing a great job so far
  19. Maybe the military has better things to do right now, understood, but, I don't think what we know about the virus right now tells us that 20 somethings in perfect health are going to die. I also would not publicize is a lot. Probably much less of a risk than a tour in Afghanistan. Just thinking outside the box of quick ways to get (immunized help) in hospitals and police departments around the country if needed. Same thought process as when you have wildfires burning up thousands of acres. Backlighting, so to speak. A controlled burn, sort of. I know, just not much to do on a Sunday afternoon but talk about this crap
  20. If no reinfection, then expound on the terrible idea part
  21. My thoughts were to only expose the very healthy in the military on a volunteer and very controlled basis. In a month, you might have a whole group of people to "serve" their country outside of weaponry
  22. Okay, then a bad idea, haha
  23. A question from left field here, just thinking out loud. Knowing that the virus is pretty minimally troubling to people in their 30's, would it be a good idea, or would it have been a good idea, for the military to purposefully infect those with very good health, so that when they are over it, they would no longer be susceptible and be able to fill in for nursing and police forces, etc. My wife says I am crazy, she probably right
  24. Norway as a percentage of population, is very high with positive tests. (3rd highest in the world) Their death rate is very low, hope it stays that way
