Hypothetically, if antibodies last only 6 weeks or so, it makes vaccinations pretty useless too. What then?

The sunshine state is turning cloudy pretty quickly

I would never ever defend the teenager in charge of our country, but I also won't fall for all the stuff going around. I agree it is hard to keep up with what is correct and not and totally believable that he'd say this kind of stuff. As a Pub governor put it, he is a heckler

Almost like you could be plagiarizing just a bit there RnR. Thinking this guy said it first
-
And if you never listen to anything but your echo chamber, you might actually think that Trump said the virus was a hoax. And repeat it a lot.
-
Then you sound just like a Trumper. They spout the same endless drivel with the same signature line. Great job

Another brilliant rebuttal for the archives

A discussion board is just that. If you ban everyone that disagrees with your opinion, it becomes my big ole echo chamber. Out of the 50 different people who have posted here, I probably agree and disagree with different points they have all made, even 4 Corners, although not that often, haha. Let people argue their points, good, bad, informed, ill informed, etc. Stop the cancel culture attitude on a damn message board. Sheesh. Everyone is subject to post stuff they read and the world is full of varied opinions. Quit trying so hard to make people think exactly like you do, or in 4 Corners case, to think at all. It won't work. Apologies to 4C, it was just low hanging fruit. This is no different than arguing different points of view on drafting a WR or an OL based on stats and measurables, well, except people aren't dying. Anyway, calm down, let people talk. If they are calling names, then step in, otherwise you are herding cats. Look at our elected gov officials on both sides of the aisle and tell me with a straight face that America is all about the smartest people to follow.

Everything these days is political. Its an election year New York Times is cannibalizing its own. It is all about a certain opinion, do not waver, do not look for holes in stories. Just swallow the news du jour. Take it with a grain of salt, or a block of salt. Nothing here will hold up in court. It might be several years before people find out all the right answers on this virus. Until then, we will just do our best to follow the changing guidelines and navigate a world where mask shamers and mask deniers equally virtue signal.

Talk about your political conspiracy theories.

odd what people find interesting these days

Looked like it was primarily based on social distancing and hand washing

Your thinking seems to be capable of only going to a certain point and then defaults back to "wear a mask" shaming. Nobody is arguing against wearing a mask. We are just discussing why there is confusion out there about it. And posting videos. Sheesh And we are being civil about it:)
-
A lofty point you made there for sure. Wish I could argue points like you and Trump. You know, "hey, you are fat, hey, you are stupid" Much better than discussing what could cause for so much confusion out there. Between the morons checking their brains at the door to follow Trump and the ones who follow MSM, we might never have to think again. Life will be better soon when all that "examining" stuff goes away.

Its no fun explaining a joke and its no fun explaining to people that the "quotes" sorta means that it is not real science, otherwise it would NOT change from week to week. It is new and we are learning each week, so all the definitive statements about the virus only lasts until the next definitive statements. Thus, not science. Lots of people claim science, until a doctor says send your kids to school. Another doctor saying something. Do we trust him and science? Or is he saying this for some motive we are to accept later?

We are lucky to be on the Huddle where the worlds smartest people reside. As I mentioned, people will not pay attention but for so long and when you have their attention, like Fauci did early on, then what you say matters. Now, once again for the Huddler Shame squad, I wear a mask, for the last time, I wear a mask. But if you are wondering what does not help beyond Trumps stupid talk, Fauci has some esplainin to do to. You cannot link the country to some "fact check" site, AFTER, they watch the nations leading doc. No matter how much you shame, they will tell you to "shut the hell up". Funny how that works.
-
When "science" changes every week or so, then people lose confidence. Maybe they should call it research at this point. Shaming people who followed 4 rabbit trails because they are not willing to follow the current trail, gets a bit tiresome, but again, go ahead, there's nothing better to do currently. Fauci lost a lot of them by saying, meh to masks, then a couple months later admitting that he was basically lying to Americans. So the trust factor is not going to sit well with most people who have the attention span of a gnat.

Yelling, "wear a mask" to the 12 people in a computer message board thread, who are already wearing a mask, seems like such a good use of time. Course we are all home with nothing to do, except Fiz, so go ahead. Maybe it should self post, like on a timer, you know, every hour or so, just so the 12 of us won't somehow wake up and not know
-
I just sitting here thinking that college kids cannot go to class masked, even to watch taped lessons or simulcast of their professors. So, they just all meet at the bars that evening to ease the boredom Seems like there should be ways to overcome some things rather than the all or nothing approaches our country is taking

Everyone all pointy elbows after just 4 months of home time. gonna be crazy after 6 more

Don't be so touchy Junior. Them crooked fonts are quite insulting
