If you wanted the league, and at least the fans, to think you were interested in a player, what would you do? Maybe send the GM and HC to a public event? Nice way to have teams and fans think they know what you are up to. At the end of the day, we could very well be interested and take the guy at 8, but again, we might be there as a diversion? Not certain. If he were the slam dunk pick we wanted, would we not be having Brady there? After all, the questions in Treys game are the short passes, the closing window passes, etc, which are a huge part of Brady's offense. Could be wrong, but I see it as a show.

A comprehensive breakdown of the top QBs in the draft.

I remember they hype about Aaron Rodgers and Alex Smith. Both were looked at as Number 1 prospects. Who would it be, was the big question. Then Rodgers fell all the way to 23 -

Keep in mind that Mahomes was taken at 10. Lance will be there. Maybe Fields also unless someone falls in love -
Report: Deshaun Watson would OK trade to Carolina Panthers

Well, just not sure. The big news, not big news thread was about physical limitations. So I guess we are left to wonder. Teddy much quicker on his feet than Stafford, so maybe the talking head should have said the Panthers were looking for a big arm.

This place is getting so Pizzy now. Even thread titles are darts at others. "my thread is better than your thread" It's like Jr High in here

Thus the question about a highly athletic QB. Not sure anyone in the NFL would have Stafford in their top 5 when speaking about someone athletic.
-
So how did the Panthers view Stafford?

"I'd be surprised....." equals BIG NEWS? How about..."thread number 427 in 30 days on D Watson" This would be more appropriate At this rate, and it being a Monday, much more BIG NEWS is probably to follow as all the talking heads have to get their columns in. -
2 - 1sts, CMC and Jackson seem a fair price

Again, if the cap drops, there will be many many guys available if you have the cash. Shaq, KK, too. They might end up back here on smaller contracts. I expect a ton of 1 and 2 years deals this offseason.
-
Houston needs a CB pretty bad If they draft Lance, they would need a tutor of sorts with Teddy. Not sure how Shaq or SF works into the equation
-
Like every other NFL reporter?
-
Shaq more likely to get the KK and Tre treatment. Guys making way more than their skill level would dictate.
