Nobody in this QB class is worth the #6 pick
-
if you find a QB in the 3rd, yeah, keep swinging, but a football team will not prosper or even survive using 1st round picks each year on a QB. So is he telling us he will trade down and pick up Ridder in the 2nd? Or someone else in the 3rd?
-
I am sure it is best for the team if the owner gets on camera and denigrates his coach
-
32 teams Huge year of teams needing QB's and trades and such. I would think this would tell you the league's opinion of Cams shoulder. He is a great guy and leader, but not physically fit to lead a team now. Or at least that is the way the league is acting

Matt Rhule dresses like a goddamn slob

Matt probably had to take a break for breathing if it was over 3 poses -

Just win baby -
Cost is about the same for both teams and both need a change. Let Baker come here on same money as Darnold for his last year. Draft a 2nd round QB after trading down with Philly. Take Penner and Ridder and have Baker instead of Sam for a year
-
So Cleveland is in a bind and needs to move Baker so as not have have team trouble. We are pretty much over Sam at this point. Even swap?

3 DE's ranked consistently throughout the league as being in the to 10 QB's, as far as pure ranking, don't start showing up until after that. Mixed bag for OT's. 5 going 1st round
-
That would be nice for the Panthers, but don't think the numbers line up
-
Hope UNC does not slack off, all the St P needs is a little hope. Don't give them that hope. Build the lead
-
Next years 1st and 2nd
-
The best trade down scenario for us probably includes one of the 3 DE's
-
Miami thought it a one half game
-
Not sure. Especially this year. All 3 QB's could be there when we pick
-
Not sure what we can get from Seattle for the move of 3 spots. Probably a 3rd and 6th
-
3 of final 4 from ACC?
-
So at 5 and 7, what will the Giants do?
-
Trubisky is only on a 2 year deal and if the present crop of QB's need a year of so of seasoning, then no reason Tomlin would not still be in the QB market. I agree they probably like him (Willis) but they will wait it out. I am sure they will talk w Fitt before the draft just to have their ducks lined up.

Saw this on another website, but could not substantiate. Maybe in the pay part of PFF? If true, then Pickett does not look that bad. Hope someone can find it. Probably also depends on the type offense a team is going to run. Lowest % of uncatchable targets on throws 10+ yards downfield among FBS quarterbacks in 2021, per @PFF : 2. Kenny Pickett (26%) 5. Carson Strong (29%) 16. Bailey Zappe (32%) 22. Matt Corral (34%) 34. Sam Howell (36%) 50. Desmond Ridder (38%) 61. Malik Willis (40%)

Running QBs don’t win Superb Owls
stirs replied to Lets go get it Canes's topic in Carolina Panthers
When I was a kid, Fran Tarkenton and Roger Staubach were the 2 nightmares for defenses at the time. Tarkenton could run 65 yds in one play, but not down the field, he kept moving just so he could pass. Roger could do the same, but would go down the field much more. Tarkenton was a good passer and mobile, went to 3 Superbowls and lost them all. Staubach had more success there. Unless you have an incredible Oline, which Brady and Manning always seem to get, then you had better learn to move. Changing defenses in the last 20 years have dictated that legs and arms are important to keep a defense honest. And QB's beware if you are gonna take off with the ball. Becoming a "runner" when you cross the line of scrimmage in todays NFL, can shorten your career. Cam and Allen can get by with it somewhat because they are in LB bodies.
