  1. The philosophical drafting background of Gman, I think, would make me seriously doubt he was moving up for an OT. WR, maybe, certainly a playmaker
  2. Oh he did look good and once again was leading or tied if I remember after 3 rounds. Bubba blew by him though on the final day. Seems like that is where he is in his development still. He will get over it soon however and will be a consistent winner on the tour.
  3. Afraid Speith would have to be up by 10 strokes going into the final round. With nerves getting to him the last couple of tournaments, he does not know nerves until Sunday Augusta. He will get there eventually however. He is a good kid
  4. A month out, I get the feeling that OT's are gonna drop just because they all project as G's or RT's. That means most of the top tier WR's, DE's and CB's will be off the board. RB, DT might be the best value at 25
  5. My choice would be Buck Allen because we have a Fozzy and we have a Stewart. Buck is not the same back as either of these and provides a home run thread anytime he gets through the line. His vision and change of direction, along with his speed are pretty impressive. Duke is a good back also.
  6. If after a home game, our field reeks of havoc, then I am in.
  7. Unfortunately, part of his potential is being blacklisted from games due to acting like a monkeys ass. That would be the only reason we'd pass him by. A suspended player does you little good.
  8. Looks like a guy from the 5th round on and big uglies seem to be on his mind in the second half of the draft. Will obviously be a back up here behind Norwell and Turner, but at 335 and nasty, I like him
  9. I still feel, after seeing Gman do the "second chance" stuff all over the place, is that we take Cedric in the second. Not only does he have left tackle skills and build, but he could have the fire because of dropping to the bottom of the second, or middle of the second if we want to move up.
  10. It was 15 years, so there is a pattern/philosophy in my opinion
  11. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/nyg/draft.htm Okay, looked it up. 1998-2012 44 total 1-3 round picks during his time there and only 1 first rounder as a T. There were also one in the second and one in the third. The Giants seemed take their offensive line guys from the 4th on, which is why the extra 5ths could come in handy.
  12. There was no shortage however of DT's, DE's, WR's and secondary players I think Luke Petigout was the T. Sorry, it has been awhile since I reviewed all that stuff
  13. Let me preface this by saying for all of you that I know Gman was not the GM while in NY. But In the years he was there, I think they took only one T in all the first 3 rounds put together. Like 36 rounds and only one T. So, if Peat is not just a slam dunk, I think Gman will go elsewhere. Maybe not a WR, but not Peat
  14. Really hope it doesn't come down to this Love Perriman to go in the teens and drop Strong to us
  15. Would make for an exceptional Thursday night
  16. I hope that the 4.2 Perriman ran will vault him ahead of us which will drop Strong to us
  17. Lots of good players, but my opinion is that some of them won't fall as far as you have them. If so, hey we are good
  18. Fans are fans. Some are more fans of individual players (see Steve Smith) and others more for the team. Here are some thoughts 1. If Gman is going to pay Cam before the season, don't look for Cam to be the highest paid guy in the league. Team fans would be happy, Cam fans enraged. 2. If Cam wants bigger bucks, he will need a better 2015. This is probably what he and his agent are counting on. A healthy Cam with the end of the season Oline (plus a couple upgrades) will make him a lot better for the team and his own pocketbook. 3. This whole ESPN manufactured (Cam is waiting on Luck and Wilson to set the baseline) is stupid. Cam, at this point, has not earned what Wilson has earned and has not shown the consistency of Luck. This is just John Clayton jibberish. 4. Some here wish they were Cam and try to think like him and want to let us know that we had better pony up big bucks or he will be heading to the lights of NYC which has been his hearts desire all along. If he is not committed to the Panthers, then let him go. Bottom line is that I can see Cam playing this season without a new contract which is probably best for everyone. There is a risk to Newton that he gets hurt again because a huge portion of his game and worth is him running the ball. There is a big risk for the team in that if he has a great year, he will get Wilson and Luck money. I say, let's wait and see. I would not mind breaking the bank if I feel he is moving into elite territory on the field an not just on paper. The sky is the limit with his athleticism and I know the team fans want him to do well
  19. I don't think that much of Martins ability so this kinda worries me that Gman thinks he can help us a lot. Makes me think Oher and Remmers are not as highly regarded as I hoped they might be, but if we can do something with no risk, then why not
