There's a lot of people saying picking number one doesn't mean much...
stirs replied to Mol3m4n's topic in Carolina Panthers
In 3rd spot after this week, not bad -
Love these scenarios "I want two 1sts, a 3rd and 5th this year and a 2nd and 4th next season, Reading Railroad and a side of fries." Lots of shadetree GM's here today
-
True, just not here

All depends on how we plan on using him next season. He cannot be great in a 43, only show flashes. In a 34, he is Von Miller. In Panther land, under the Defense Dujour, he is good only part of the time. He sucks when a 320 Tackle is run blocking. So we need to make up our mind how we are gonna use him before labeling him, trading him or whatever. Not sure why we are gonna trade guys on D until we have an idea the scheme for next season. If we put in a 34 and have shipped Burns off, then we are searching again for an elusive player. If we are gonna run a 43, then get the picks and don't look back

Brown could work in a 34 or 43, so keep him

Shelf life of a RB is short. CMC is showing out now and will never be more valuable in a trade. If we get new coach, new QB, new system, we will not be competitive for 2 to 3 seasons. What will a RB like CMC be doing at that point? Just like Cam, you guys think with your heart and not your head. Was this Sundays loss more fun because CMC showed off his talents? It was still an L. I say trade him for the 1st and 5th if we can get it. You can purchase another jersey

Would you rather be the Panthers with a horrible record and no QB, or the Broncos, with a horrible record and your fortune tied up in a new QB?
-
Any trade of a top tier player would need to be tempered with a view of the future. Brian Burns for instance. He is and would be suited best for a 34 OLB position. We are playing him out of place. With the way we play him, we should not give him top tier money, but if we change to a 34, then maybe we keep him. Who is to say? Fitt?

Robbie did not want to be here, so we don't want him to be here. Enough said. Panther fans are soooooo dramatic in their likes and dislikes. Hope we use the picks and money we got for him in a wise way, so far in the last few years, we have done neither, so that is on us. And Tepper.

Stroud, Hooker, Levis and Richardson all have NFL bodies. Young has an NBA body Agree with Mathias that OSU produces program guys that are not usually successful in the NFL Hooker is very intriguing, not sure if he has all the passes in his bag of tricks, but throws a great deep ball. Levis is running a lot due to a poor OL, heard that anywhere lately? But seems to be scrappy and has played hurt some this year. Richardson I agree would be a trade back option

Predict when Robbie Anderson is Traded or Released.
stirs replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
why? -
A QB like Josh Allen or Cam Newton are generally not hurt by guys except the linemen. Young will be smaller than most CB's and can get hurt by anyone. He is wildly entertaining at the college level, but no way I would take him in the 1st round, much less the first pick
-
Several QB's might be available, but no slam dunks out there
-
Chiefs and Bills play some entertaining games for sure
-
Trading CMC would actually be a good move on paper.RB's have a short shelf life anyway, he is showing all the league what he has and we are getting swamped. He might have another injury at any point and be out the rest of the season. With him or without him, we are destined to be bad. Trade him to Buffalo
-
Buffalo NEEDS CMC
-
I LAUGHED at the notion before but
stirs replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Maybe you guys would get comfort from watching Cam suck again and go 0 for ? Not many QB's are going to win here, not at this point How does that help anything? -
Eason time
-
CMC has a bullseye on his jersey now

Brown trying to get into the trade conversation
-
Henderson out. The heck with this tackling stuff
-
Tripping up a small WR is different that not even slowing the RB. He wants nothing of contact
-
Henderson is soft
