Trade them Teddy even
-
Charlotte fans would have acted the same, or worse, since it would have been our first.

Lawrence has about a 75% chance of making it and being a good, maybe great, 10 yr starter. Odds go down significantly on the other 3. I would not trade up for any QB, other than Lawrence. All too steep

I expect Cincy to take WR Chase. They have high hopes in their young tackles

Bucs outplayed them on both sides of the ball. Game changers for KC was losing their left tackle in championship game. Retooling the entire Oline sent Mahomes scrambling way too often and cut down their playbook quite a bit. After Brady saw what their defense was doing, it was just a methodical bullying from 2nd qtr on. Left tackles seem to be quite important. Losing theirs, caused Mahomes to look like Bridgewater last night

Maybe not, if they were taking Trey Lance, having Teddy there for a year or so might not have been a bad idea
-
You have to figure the Texans, if entertaining a trade at all, were already asking far more than what the Rams gave up for Stafford, thus the Stafford trade happening at all. If Watson could have been had for this package, it would be him instead of Stafford already. Stafford was probably a fallback position for the Rams.

Teddy is a good locker room guy and could be a good mentor, so they might be so inclined if bringing in a new guy
-
So, we give them the 5th comp pick? Let him compete with Teddy?
-
Seems like we might know a WR who could tell us a thing or two about him
-
Not hoping for a big swing....and miss

I think it changes from year to year. I think most teams grade players, thus the "he had a 1st round grade, so we moved up quickly in the 2nd to grab him" type stuff. Also, from year to year the amount of guys with 1st round grades change. Not at all strange to see guys who pick in the mid twenties move out of the first round

I have never been a proponent of large RB contracts. One can think back on the Double Trouble debacle. However, CMC is a bit more than a RB and will be used a lot in situations to gain back the productivity of losing Samuel. We had a lot of firepower with the 3 WR's and this year, it will be 2 WR's and a RB. Besides, high contract and an injury do not spell good trade value.

All roads lead to Watson
